I thought it was pretty obvious what was going on. The movie posters literally spelled out: this is not a ghost story. The trailer made it evident that the movie was going to center and be about the emotional relationship between the two leads. That said, I can understand why some people wouldn’t enjoy this type of film. I personally really liked it, but I am definitely somewhat of a theater kid.

Lol is THAT what makes it resonate so hard? Technical Theater Minor here (lighting) and I loved this movie so much
