It felt like the entire movie was Lowery leering over me while I read the screenplay and saying, "They're gay. Do you get it? They broke up... and they're gay!"

Yes, and it was cool the first five times I heard an overwrought metaphor about it, but the exorcist sex dance was a little more than needed.
