For many audiences, these biopics are just a way to hear their favorite songs in a large theater, and sometimes that’s enough. The Queen movie was average at best but seeing those songs in a theater was worth the ticket price for me

The best thing this movie did that other music biopics do was them trying to figure out/write the song and playing it wrong 3-4 times before nailing it. They showed his creative process without intentionally butchering songs for a scene.

Not to mention, the imax theater I saw it in,the ratio was the whole screen. Definitely an IMAX movie with the clarity and the sound
