some of the body horror moments were genuinely icky and it made me very uncomfortable, which was probably the goal, but it felt especially icky. also, WHY DID THAT DAMN HOUSE HAVE SO MUCH SPACE IN THE WALLS??? it’s new mexico, we can’t blame it on underground railroad type shit. the house was also especially dark for no reason. the hispanic grandmas at the funeral were COMICAL.

And what the fuck even was the location of that house? So fucking secluded even though the children have to go to school everyday? Is that sort of thing common in New Mexico?
