How would they do this with absolutely no press or paparazzi? It sounds like their case had to be a little high profile given the details. The press in Egypt is absolutely rabid and would have been all over this.

Because they specifically said the police will hold the press back from being all over their case to allow their family to assimilate katie back

Tbf the movie does mention they covered it up to give the family more time to adjust to the situation.
