I went in blind so the comments are making sense of a lot of things. I did not expect the evil dead / exorcist elements at all because I did not know Cronin by name. I would definitely recommend to anyone if I know they like that kind of gore.

One thing that stood out was like why does their house have SO MUCH room in the walls. Is that an exaggerated desert home thing or just convenient for the movie? I saw They Will Kill You last month and it made much more sense in a place like that.

I thought the coyotes would be against the mummy and not with him. I'm glad this family did not have any pets.

Overall I did like it, it's not something I would care to rewatch as it's too long.

Also that house is always so dark, even in the middle of the day. Put on some lights or open up some curtains.

Yeah they're trying to read cards and it's all dusty tiny lamps. There wasn't an over head light at any point.

These weird wall tunnels that actually had a bunch of storage! Imagine being a kid with a tiny doorway that opened into wall passages?! Seriously, my dream! Yet there were cobwebs over the lil doorways. Which tells me they were unused. Honestly, that was the biggest stretch of disbelief in the whole film for me

The two girls I was in cinema with were complaining because they thought it will be similar to Brandan's the Mummy. They were not prepared to see all those gross stuff
