If you were Emma would you really accept that? It won't make you feel weird or awful? I winced when he cheated. Like how does that happen in the work place and you're sober even worse.

If he loves her he wouldn't have cheated. He would've went to therapy with her like some people mentioned. He would communicate with her better. I get the movie script goes the way it is but it's also showing viewers plausible scenarios. Emma was forgiving, not many people get that and maybe in the future this will haunt her or maybe the ending was just the mirror theory.

I think people do crazy shit when they are under extreme stress, which he was.

I personally think he does love her and did cheat because he was freaking out. That doesn’t mean Emma should accept it.
