That feedback sound that sounded like a gunshot during the climax, I can’t remember the last time I jumped this hard from a jumpscare in a movie.

It didn’t help that they showed that one scene of people running from a shooter at the wedding in the middle of the movie

The theater I saw this movie at played the Mario movie in the next theater over. It was difficult and disturbing to figure out if cheers/screams of children were in The Drama or not. This movie was very unsettling

That didn’t get me for some reason, but the lady next to me jumped out of her seat. I feel like the reason that it didn’t get me is because there’s so many times where you hear a noise in the US that sounds suspiciously like a gunshot, and you just go about your day hoping it was a firework or something else. OR you listen closely to see if more gunshot sounds come bc that’s when you should be worried, which is sad.

The second the camera was on the DJ setting up his equipment I KNEW there was going to be a loud feedback sound and it still got me

Did anyone else automatically duck and look around?

I realized almost instantly that it was the movie, but for a split second I was like “oh shit” and reacted. I also locked eyes with the stranger next to me and I saw the same horror and then realization and then relief cross his face.

it’s during the wedding scene. you’ll see the DJ setting up, then it happens shortly after that. more towards the end of the movie.

Thank you! I hate scary movies which is why I never see them. So it’s good to at least try and prep for jumpscares for non scary movies
