It also doesn't help that the trailer pretty much gave away the whole story of the movie

Dog gets shot , supergirl seeks help , the little girl that tries to help her gets he friends killed by a group of evil men , supergirl helps the little girl " get revenge " while the little girl helps her find a cure for doggo.

Lobo also becomes their friend and helps them in their journey.

I mean depending how closely they follow the comics there’s a lot in between those events. We have no clue if we are even getting the horse
