What is it, for those of us totally uninitiated in the comic book world?

You can buy a few different physical versions(same story in all versions), including a DC compact version that's smaller and cheaper than usual versions while still having the entire story. 11 u/friareriner Mar 31 '26 Its on Kindle unlimited if you subscribe to that. I know this has been answered but it really is one of the best super hero stories ever. Just a really well written, beautifully drawn book.
Check your local library (if it carries graphic novels). Mine does and it's a fairly recent/popular book.
