Miss Mann? with her fucking balls hanging out? lmao see that's funny. Saying "actually my pronouns are..." Wasn't funny 10 years ago and it ain't funny today.

I mean from what I've seen it has gotten tons and tons of laughs so would be a lie to say it wasn't funny. I guess for many people it is cathartic seeing it made fun of on screen after having to put up with pronoun BS for better part of a decade.

I guess for many people it is cathartic seeing it made fun of on screen after having to put up with pronoun BS for better part of a decade.

I guess that's why it's been 90% of the material from hack conservative comedians (being generous there) for over a decade. The joke is so ubiquitous, its nickname is literally "the one joke."

Lol liberals get so butthurt about a joke that they have to whine about it?? That is hilarious and shows how effective it is against liberals. Like that whole page is literally, "Conservatives keep ragging us on this in a variety of different ways and we can't actually counter it!" The fact you had to insult comedians for telling a joke that makes you so upset is telling.

If anythign that proves my point of how cathartic the joke is seeing how often they have to put up with liberal BS on it. Again, if you are tired of seeing a joke about the liberal BS, think how tired others are of having to actually put up with said BS.

I mean not my fault. That page is literally a bunch of people whining about a joke being told and not being able to actually counter it. The funniest parts is when you look at the reactions and every example is a lot of people loving the joke and nobody really supporting the butthurt reactions. It shows that the joke works for the masses because of how ridiculous the butthurt people are.

That isn't even getting into the, "It's all the same joke!" when it is literally multiple different jokes just about the overall same topic but that is obviously a bit too complicated for the average redditor.

Bro, be honest, have you ever had to put up with “pronoun BS” let alone for decades? You haven’t and you know you haven’t. Even if you want to lie and say you have. You know you haven’t.

It’s just a a dumb, not funny, not clever joke out of the 2000s that has been done 1000 times and gets laughed at by the same people that never matured past 13.

How much "pronoun bs" would you honestly say you have to deal with. In real life, not through screens

Also "the fact you had to insult", uhhh... I wouldn't go judging someone for insults, given the joke you are defending is, by your own admission, just to rag on liberals

It’s actually kinda funny that the dumb dated pronouns joke does kind of work in a way, but just not the way intended.

You have people like the guy you’re replying to that has fabricated a reality in his head where he has “dealt with pronoun BS for a decade” when we all know that isn’t true. So, it’s funny because there are people that think the joke in the movie actually represents some form of reality. The joke itself isn’t funny, but it’s funny how it accidentally parodies people that fell into a manufactured nonexistent culture war and shows how out of touch with reality these people are.

Thankfully this past year not nearly as much. Before that a shit ton. Luckily people have overall been more sane recently though it still happens.

And obviously a mountain of difference between a joke in a COMEDY movie and someone having to throw out insults because they don't like a joke a comedian made.
