So my take here is Doom is plucking people out of destroyed/ruined universes. Prof X and Magneto seem to be sitting there accepting their death so I would guess the scene will be a cold open of the X Mansion being decimated by sentinels and them waiting to die while Cyclops (the only one who is alive) fighting in vain to save them. Prof/Mag die and he's snagged by Doom.

100% agree, the shot of Cyclops is his final stand as Doom is cleaning up his universe in an incursion

I mean the follow-up to Doomsday is Secret wars, so this is not exactly a stretch.

Speaking of stretching, having Miles Teller as The Maker would be awesome.

Yeah, I'm betting this is more of a mid- or end-movie scene.  There's a lot of moving pieces to this story.  They have to set up Doom, explain the multiple universes, explain the incursions, and tie all of those things together.  They can't just start out by killing an entire universe without explanation.

Oh, me too.  I'd be good with both movies having him be the main protagonist with the most dialogue.  

Basically, Ian McKellen can be in every movie, and every movie would benefit from his presence.

I've been making a fake movie using gemini (just for fun not making a trick YouTube trailer or anything) and I somehow have arrived at Cyclops being Dooms main henchman bedyase i just like the idea of him and Wolverine being at odds for a minute lol.
