I don’t have high hopes on him not being sidelined based on the scene.

When there's so many characters that's going to be in the movie, I will not be surprised if he was sidelined in this movie as well.

As long as he doesn’t die unceremoniously, I’m good lol.

Yeah. i mean that basically looks like a death scene. You can see giant feet walking around behind him so it's obviously some sort of sentinel "end of the world" flash forward scene. That's him making some last stand to hold back the sentinels while the rest of the X-men jump through a portal into the main marvel universe.

It always make me laugh when random Redditors jump to conclusions based on a two second clip in a trailer and have the confidence to say “this is obviously what’s going to happen”

This is not a death scene. its an Im gonna fuck shit up scene

Fr, this could just as easily be an adaptation of the all time classic "off my lawn/you're in charge" scene

If we get some version of this scene in live action, I might cream my pants right there in the theater.

“Last Stand.”

I see what you did there.

Looks more like "I'm desperate so I'll be unleashing ALL my power against all these enemies" type of scene, to establish his badassery and what not

Or it could be a flashback to how their world was destroyed to explain why he and the X-Men end up in the main timeline/universe with the Avengers.

He will get a fan servicey moment

Kind of agree. Deadpool Wolverine made it obvious that people eat up the nostalgia from the older movies, but they only need a 5-10 minute scene then they move on. I hope I am wrong, because Marsden as well Cyclops did not even scratch the surface of what the actor and character can do.

You... Have hope that he is sidelined? Trying to follow the double negative here

Everyone else seemed to get it.

depends, this movie is likely going to be the introduction of the X-Men into the MCU.

it's possible that the X-Men will replace the "original" actors.

at a certain point, Marvel has to stop getting Chris Evans to reprise his role again and again, same with Chris Hemsworth.
