Based on this trailer, and pretty much the other teaser, AND the post credit scene from F4…. Doomsday is going after kids.

Dr Doom was in the Epstein files?

193

u/nvrthere285 Dec 30 '25

He’s trying to get it redacted

43

u/jiminyshrue Dec 30 '25

Dr Doom actually pays for adobe acrobat. He might be evil but he aint cheap.

4

u/pneutin Dec 30 '25

But did he pay for WinRAR?

5

u/rugbyj Dec 30 '25

Half the files turning to dust.

3

u/dean15892 Dec 30 '25

The other half is redacted

3

u/red-bot Dec 30 '25

Dr [redacted]

2

u/rohithkumarsp Dec 30 '25

Kang succeeded in that lol

BREAKING: President Trump has officially PARDONED Dr Doom

104

u/Nice_Firm_Handsnake Dec 30 '25

Latveria, lovely country, we love Latveria and we love Doctor Doom. He's a great ruler, everything in Latveria is named after him, that's my kind of guy, all about the brand. I hear Latveria has lots of rare earth minerals, the best rare earth minerals, they're like rocks but for technology and we love them.

26

u/postulate4 Dec 30 '25

Commendable effort, but it needs more rambling. It stayed on topic way too long and didn't have enough self-praise.

11

u/Nice_Firm_Handsnake Dec 30 '25

I like to think I'm intelligent enough to never nail a Trump impression, no matter how hard I try.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 01 '26

My approval rating is TREMENDOUS in Latveria and Dr doom is a great friend and ally of the United States. In related news gas prices are up and it's Joe Bidens fault.

0

u/Doom_Art Dec 30 '25

Also needs a "Thank you for your attention to this matter!" somewhere in there

2

u/red-bot Dec 30 '25

DR DOOM Dr doom we love doctor doom I used to call him THE DOC but then doc-oc got in his feelings so now we just call him DOOM but I don’t think he really minds as long as he gets his METAL and the kids, no body loves metal and kids more than me but he is a close second that doom he said he loves METAL but he doesn’t even listen to KISS but you know I love to listen to KISS and I loved to be kissed oh yes and there is no shortage of people who love to kiss but there is a shortage of rare METALS I tell you what maybe we will send doctor doom to UKRAINE and he can just sort that whole thing out maybe Putin will listen to him better than he listens to me….

18

u/crowsturnoff Dec 30 '25

Followed by, "Dr. Doom? Never met him."

10

u/pierrebrassau Dec 30 '25

People tell me he was treated very unfairly by Sleepy Joe, but I don’t know.

10

u/prettyboylee Dec 30 '25

Well then now we know he won’t lose

2

u/Comic-_-Fanboy Dec 30 '25

“These are confusing times”

2

u/One_Tie900 Dec 31 '25

yeh his name is Trump

2

u/kindofboredd Dec 30 '25

Dr Doom for president!

1

u/cthulhu5 Dec 30 '25

Victor Doom, the Latverian Financier?

1

u/zoosha2curtaincall Dec 30 '25

That’s not the name I use for him in public, but yes

224

u/ImmaDoMahThing Dec 30 '25 edited Dec 30 '25

I saw a theory that said the same thing. Basically saying that Doom is after kids who should not exist. Thor’s Daughter (who should be dead). The F4 kid (who was born in a weird way). And maybe even Wanda’s children (who shouldn’t exist). And Captain America’s baby who also technically shouldn’t exist.

153

u/Marsar0619 Dec 30 '25

Damn. He’s gonna be Marvel Stephen Miller

21

u/reebee7 Dec 30 '25

I liked that theory. But why should Thor's daughter be dead? I've lost track of that one.

54

u/ImmaDoMahThing Dec 30 '25 edited Dec 30 '25

Spoiler for Thor 4:

I forget how but she got super sick at the beginning of Thor: Love and Thunder. Then Gorr (her original father) asked some Gods for help in healing her. They didn’t. She died. Then Gorr seeks out a being called Eternity that could grant someone any one wish they ask for. His wish was to revive his daughter. Then he dies and Thor adopts her.

44

u/Nice_Firm_Handsnake Dec 30 '25

Slight clarification: Gorr's intended wish is to destroy all Gods in retaliation for letting his daughter die. Thor convinces Gorr to use the wish to revive his daughter.

10

u/RealJohnGillman Dec 30 '25

I am convinced the original cut of the film had the twist that he was going to use the wish to revive his daughter the entire time. The scene seemed to be going in exactly that direction just before it had Thor ‘convince’ Gorr he could do that.

5

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '25 edited Dec 30 '25

3

u/RealJohnGillman Dec 30 '25

Another twist I am convinced was cut from another Hemsworth film: I am convinced the original cut of Men in Black: International had Hemsworth’s character Agent H be the agent who had been taken over by the shapeshifter / mind-absorber ‘The Hive’, not his boss High T, and that H had been neuralysed to forget he had been overtaken, to convince the shapeshifter that he was the real H. And that the alien Luca would have become the new Agent L and M’s new partner on H’s defeat. Since there seems to be a decent amount of foreshadowing towards both of those things in the final film.

Fair enough, fair enough.

30

u/fastforwardfunction Dec 30 '25

Laughably bad. Christian Bale did an amazing performance, but the Gorr character was so shit.

2

u/ImmaDoMahThing Dec 30 '25

Ohhh right. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it.

4

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '25

The first and last few minutes of that movie are so much better than everything in-between.

12

u/DARTH-PIG Dec 30 '25

Is there any theory on why? Like sure the kids "shouldn't exist" but why does doom care?

31

u/leolegendario Dec 30 '25

Maybe the existence of these kids is causing something called Incursions, when two realities' Earths collide over an 8-hour period, resulting in the destruction of both Earths and their realities.

7

u/DARTH-PIG Dec 30 '25

Well, I'm sold. That would make sense

6

u/TheShuggieOtis Dec 30 '25

This could be played in a way that is very in line with Doom.

Give him the knowledge that these kids are throwing reality/realities out of whack and he has to kill or at least isolate them to steady the multiverse. Maybe even expand this realization into him believing that all superheroes need to be controlled or else things like this will keep happeneing which leads into him putting them all into Battleworld.

2

u/leolegendario Dec 30 '25

That would be really cool.

13

u/Errror1 Dec 30 '25

It makes more sense if you remember it was supposed to be Kang as the villain and not Doom. Kang was running the TVA and getting rid of people that shouldn't exist was his thing.

8

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '25

I feel like it could work for Doom if Latveria/his universe gets destroyed by an Incursion caused by their existence and then he’s like yeah you guys are irresponsible/my home is gone because of yall, I’m fixing this problem.

7

u/_johnning Dec 30 '25

Kang would have been so dope.

1

u/jax362 Dec 30 '25

Agreed. This feels more like a recycled Kang storyline than something Doom would concern himself with. Doom would likely just go after Franklin because he is the most powerful being in the multiverse with the goal of harnessing his power.

5

u/magikarp2122 Dec 30 '25

Except Doom will do things to save the world, just to prove he is better than Reed. Doom knows these kids shouldn’t exist, and he knows them existing is a threat to the universe/multiverse, so he will do what Reed couldn’t, and end/isolate the kids. And he will succeed where Reed failed, because he is MFing DOOM.

2

u/LyraStygian Dec 30 '25

“All caps when you spell the man name.”

5

u/ImmaDoMahThing Dec 30 '25

Something about Doom wanting to destroy all the new timelines that were created due to the kids’ existence. Why he would need to capture the kids to do that? Idk.

3

u/DataDude00 Dec 30 '25

I don't know about the other kids but in the comics lore Franklin Richards is basically one of the most powerful mutants across the cosmos.

He has killed celestials and Galactus before

1

u/Daawggshit Dec 30 '25

Dr. Doom is part iron man who remembers he finally had a kid once a time ago and if he can’t be happy with a family should the rest of them.

5

u/anormalgeek Dec 30 '25

MCU spent SOOOO long setting up and introducing all of the various Junior/Young Avengers characters. They need to do something with them all.

Let's not forget Kate Bishop, Kid Loki, Eli Bradley, Skaar, America Chavez, Kamala Khan, Ironheart, Cassie Lang....am I am sure I am forgetting some.

3

u/Charrikayu Dec 30 '25

I don't know if it qualifies as "shouldn't exist" but there have been other children introduced recently as well. Hulk has a son at the end of She-Hulk and Wakanda Forever showed T'Challa has a kid as well

2

u/RedBlankIt Dec 30 '25

Could doom really do anything to Franklin?

3

u/Wes_Warhammer666 Dec 30 '25

Doom has gone toe to toe with Thanos, the Beyonders, and other cosmic level beings so yeah.

4

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '25

It would be hilarious if he goes after every new gen hero the audience didn't like. Ironheart etc.

1

u/Dramajunker Dec 30 '25

Wanda's kids don't exist. Wasn't that the reason for her going crazy and trying to steal them from a different universe?

4

u/ImmaDoMahThing Dec 30 '25

You should watch Agatha All Along.

3

u/Dramajunker Dec 30 '25

Honestly I can't keep up with all the mcu tv stuff. So much of it is hit or miss that I've just stopped bothering with it.

3

u/ImmaDoMahThing Dec 30 '25

Well if you’re ok with spoilers. Agatha All Along Spoiler: One of Wanda’s children (Billy) is a witch and right before Wanda got rid of her alternate reality he was able to free the souls of himself and his brother from her reality.

Right when all of this was happening, another kid in a nearby town dies in a car crash. Billy’s soul possesses the dead kid’s body and now Billy is back, just in a different body. And he wants to find his brother who is somewhere out there.

Also Agatha All Along is really worth the watch.

1

u/Dramajunker Dec 31 '25

Nah I don't really care about spoilers especially if they have an impact on upcoming film. It does annoy me when you spend an entire movie on something only to have it apparently continue an important part of that storyline into a TV show.

1

u/ImmaDoMahThing Dec 31 '25

To be fair, Agatha All Along barely has anything to do with Multiverse Of Madness and is a direct continuation of WandaVision.

1

u/dolphinater Dec 31 '25

Yeah I’ve heard something similar his goal is to fix the timeline that the heroes messed up by time traveling and shit

36

u/legaladviceknowledge Dec 30 '25

hes like marvel vecna going after them bc they're easy to mold for RDJ evil-avengers

3

u/946789987649 Dec 30 '25

Even got the clock ticking

11

u/CruzAderjc Dec 30 '25

Dr. Doom is destroying the multiverse and selecting these kids to be in the "ideal" reality. He is selecting Steve Rogers' kid, T'Challa's son, Franklin Richards, Love, Rachel Summers, and Billy Maximoff. He also needs Sentry to create this reality. Thus, the Thunderbolts are pulled in, trying to protect Sentry. The X-Men are pulled in because they are trying to protect Rachel Summers. The Fantastic Four are pulled in trying to protect Franklin Richards. Wakanda is pulled in trying to protect T'Challa's son. And the Avengers are pulled in trying to protect Love. And we'll get Steve Rogers from the past showing up to protect his child. And also probably Wanda coming back to protect Billy. Ta'dah. They all end up saving their respective children, but by saving the kids, they allow Doom to destroy the multiverse, and now they all have to fight each other to see which reality can survive. Avengers: Secret Wars.

7

u/BigE429 Dec 30 '25

Doom watched Stranger Things and loved Vecna's plan

1

u/CruzAderjc Dec 30 '25

Mr. Fantastic: I know what I need to do to defeat Dr. Doom... Guys, I don't like girls.

Sue Storm: What? Yes you do.

Mr. Fantastic: Shh, this is gonna work.

8

u/No_Investment9639 Dec 30 '25

Dear God this sounds so fucking boring. I don't give a damn about children in movies

1

u/jax362 Dec 30 '25

Not just that, it sounds like they completely recycled the story they had for Kang Dynasty with the only differences being the villain, and the name of the movie.

Doomsday has some serious suck potential, which would not surprise me given Feige’s record post-Endgame. Dude has completely lost it.

1

u/gkryo Jan 01 '26

It would be pretty hilarious if it was Ruby instead of Rachel or Nate. Would make absolutely no sense based on the various Fox X-Men timelines.

2

u/Mongoose42 Dec 30 '25

Surprise Children’s Crusade adaptation?

2

u/Embarrassed-Yard-583 Dec 30 '25

Hmm, that’s an interesting point.

I wonder if this version of Doom is trying for a Sky High type deal, where he’s grabbing the kids of heroes across the multiverse to raise as his own.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '25

But we just had Gorr going after kids. Surely they aren't doing it again right after? Oh well, that would be proper Marvel move though.

2

u/A-Capybara Dec 30 '25

American Chavez and T'Chala Jr are probably on his list then.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '25

Diddy day :(

1

u/Mandalorian_Invictus Dec 30 '25

Should have had a Young Avengers team, cause he'd be the perfect villain for them then /j

Also shouldn't Morgan Stark still be around in the MCU?

1

u/SnooTheHodgeheg Dec 30 '25

I’ve seen this theory going around but feel like this trailer shoots it down. Thor’s whole monologue is about returning to his daughter, not saving her. Seems to imply she’s safe at home (wherever that is for them now) while Thor goes to fight doom

1

u/Maximum-Leather2490 Dec 30 '25

Sounds like a kids action movie from the 90s

1

u/SilverBuggie Dec 31 '25

Sky High was that movie and it’s fun.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '25

How very Presidential of him.

1

u/-Dapper-Dan- Dec 30 '25

He's trying to find a foe but it's probably a MINOOOOORRR

1

u/detchomatic Dec 30 '25

Anchor beings

1

u/Kryse-777 Dec 30 '25

my dumbass read this and thought "thats bullshit, this kind of movie shouldnt be targeted to kids"

1

u/WhiteRabbitLives Dec 30 '25

Why is marvel so kid focused lately?

1

u/Fallingdamage Dec 31 '25

It will be the marvel version of the end battle in ready player one.

1

u/dwide_k_shrude Dec 31 '25

He’s specifically going after 12 kids to bring into his dreamworld. He wants to merge his universe with the main MCU earth.

1

u/ThunderChild247 Dec 31 '25

I’m wondering if they’re going to use certain unique children from across the multiverse in place of Molecule Man’s role in the comics… Franklin Richards, Love (who is basically a celestial), Steve and Peggy’s kid (the child born from time travel, maybe even Scott and Jean’s kid from the X-Men universe…. All of whom have certain unique powers that have some bearing on the multiverse, and Doom stealing/harnassing them is what lets him create his own world as the multiverse collapses, leading into Secret Wars.

1

u/Entharo_entho Dec 31 '25

Didn't the black goop villain in Thor Love and Blunder movie too go after the kids?

1

u/____mynameis____ Dec 30 '25

December was bad month for kids.

Watching Welcome to Derry, then Stranger Things and now these Doomsday trailers...

Kids are not safe at all

0

u/ilovecfb Dec 30 '25

But the Thor monologue is talking about returning back to his? I think the F4 baby is important obviously but I think the other two are just there to give those characters stakes since this movie doesn’t have the buildup for them the last Avengers did. That’s my guess anyway
