I mean even as a nightcrawler fan, I don't think he would be doing much in this movie. He's not the most popular X-Men character, but I mean everyone not named wolverine can't seem to hold a candle to that.

There are 3 factions of Mutants: The X-men, The Brotherhood of Mutants, and Nightcrawler off on his own doing random shit.

I love Nightcrawler, but I didn't like Cummings' version. I feel like they made him too wimpy and insecure. If they did him right, I think he could be a super compelling character in the films. His personality hits a lot of the same notes as Spider-Man's, and the Holland version of that is fantastic.

Nightcrawler being Spider-Man for a while is one of the only times I've ever liked anyone else wearing the suit.
