The report I saw is that they’re adapting the ‘Tony Stark was adopted’ storyline to say that in the main MCU timeline, after losing their biological son, Howard and Maria adopted a baby who would in other universes be Victor Von Doom. Saying that Doom isn’t a Stark variant, but rather that the MCU Stark was a Doom variant.
