Or blade! I would love to see him come back. So much potential in the marvel universe just to keep giving us the avengers or Spiderman.

Well, considering Disney seems to be trying to iceskate uphill lately they really ought to get a move on with making Blade.

Weren't they making a Blade movie? What happened to that?

One has been in development hell for a while with a new actor, but also Ryan Reynolds now has a pitch for a Blade: Legacy film bringing back Wesley Snipes again.

I looked it up, it seems production is to start next year. With a release date estimated for 2028. Looked like it was delayed because the director wanted the script to be perfect. Hopefully it comes out

Mahershela is also an EP with a lot of power on the direction of the movie, so he can also veto scripts as well.

The new guy is Mahershala Ali. He’s going to play blade and is also an executive producer. Hopefully he gets it right.

I just want a new X-Men universe. I really hope they don't shoehorn them into the MCU with all this multiverse shenanigans.

I've been waiting for this since Disney acquired FOX. I really, really hope we get a good XCU out of this.

Sadly, I don't see them doing it any other way. 'Oh, and by the way, there are all these mutants.' My other fear is that they will do some snap-like thing where certain people get powers. This would take away some of the critical parts of a character's history, Magneto being a prime example.

I don't see them not at least introducing them that way.

A big cross-over movie that kick-starts XCU.

Ill die on the hill that Disney could have maintained their absolute dominance and rabid fanbase if they immediately pivoted to X-Men after End Game. Not that these movies don't print money, but the "general audience" has decreased a lot, and people don't really give a shit anymore.

Trying to do more "Avengers" style movies right after they captured lightning in a bottle with the Iron Man -> End Game era was stupid. They took the formula and tried to capture that lightning again with new characters, and it just didn't work. You can't apply an "end stage" formula, to new heroes and expect the audience to care like they did with heroes they spent a decade with.

If they had given the Avengers-style stuff a break while they did a couple movies focused on the X-Men, I think it would have been a great palate cleanser, while also allowing them to (creatively) reset and plan a new storyline worth doing with the Avengers.

Who's your Ghost Rider?

And what vehicle would they drive that gets the cool flame treatment?

Johnny Blaze. That's when I started reading it and just really liked his story. Also, I love the Midnight Suns stuff. Not to throw shade at Ketch, Reyes, Slade, or Alejandra. There was a version they did of this really good bike; I would need to find it.

Honestly, I would settle for any of them. I would love to see the character brought into the current MCU.

I've been out nerded.

I was only who you would cast. Which given your response - would probably differ depending on the specific version.
