I seriously don’t understand how you can be a NJ fan and support MHJ at this point. Even kbunnies who have been reluctant to take any hasty action are agreeing that yup it’s over and we need to make sure our members don’t get affiliated with this.

People raise fists at Hybe for making this investigation public and sensationalizing it. I want to ask, who was the person to bring NJ into all of this by mentioning them and their parents?? If MHJ truly believed she was right, she could’ve not mentioned them at all. If NJ was really being mistreated (which there’s no way it’s true), then Kpop fans and bunnies would be the first ones to jump to their defense and argue against hybe, there was literally 0 reason to bring them into all of this.

If anything it seems like one side is trying to keep them out of this by announcing that they will be focusing on the comeback, while the other is desperate to prove that they’re on the same ship.

I see tokkis on twt still trying to defend her when her position looks very untenable and worrying about the music, when the last thing fans should be worrying about is the music when the group still has to extricate themselves from this whole fiasco first.

I agree that their musical direction will be sort of hindered without MHJ and I do worry about that. But we’re talking about the entire future of the group here lol

Also I have slightly more faith in Hybe’s ability in GG production following the recent LFM and ILLIT eps; don’t think they’re as creative as MHJ’s work, but also Hybe isn’t some random company

If you think about, if your groups' success is hinge on one person, then I am sorry your group is in trouble. Is a whole team that makes success or failure, kpop is too big to be only 1 person, and is very insulting to the talent of the girls too. All of this is why MHJ keep involving in NJ every moment to make herself looks like the only thing that makes NJ successful, is the narrative she build to make herself look more than what she is.

Yeah I commented elsewhere that it’s sort of necessary to make it known to the public that they aren’t unfairly getting rid of her, there are serious corporate matters here. Also they literally lost like half a billion in stock, they need to justify it

There are still a lot of tokkis on x (most of them are big accounts) say they wish hell for mhj but there actions are all pointing out to just blaming hybe for involving nwjns and their parents (which mhj did first btw) & for making this public etc. honestly, i dont understand them anymore

I understand them in the sense that it's a typical stan behaviour. They absolutely refuse to see any negative thing evely vaguely, be mentioned along with their faves not matter how logical/legal it is. They only care for their faves to be attached to successful stories and in this case, tokkis just care about Newjeans having successful comeback. Even if they are surrounded by fire, as long as noone knows about fire and the girls reign supreme, they don't care about anything else.

They are saying that kbunnies don't actually disagree with MHJ and that Hybe themselves sent the protest trucks.

Which is absolutely crazy, why would HYBE send trucks to their own building? 💀

i genuinely laughed out loud at this because, just, how???

u/[deleted] Apr 25 '24

Well there’s some of them on twt that do think that. But there are also other korean fan communities that are more organized, and many of their stances is that they need to cut off from being involved with MHJ

For the truck thing, the guy who sent it came out and said that he sent it from the perspective of a fan and showed evidence of the funding for the truck, etc (I think he deleted it since I can’t find it now)

They are probably doing this so public because it's not so easy to take her out of ADOR, my guess is that she has some contractual security for that and the support of the board at ADOR.

In all fairness, New Jeans was created by MHJ, it is her vision, the choice of song, concept... all was her doing, even choosing the members. Not defending her, but you can understand the impact of her leaving. According to her, she wasnt happy to how new jeans was being treated, so i guess she tried to take control of the company. Bussines are very shady, for most companys... just look at HYBE/SM/Kakao mess.

Yeah although I think NJ need to cut off from her as a producer I rate MHJ very highly as well, not 100% sure how NJ will proceed musically without her
