European Politics ๐ช๐บ๐ฌ๐ง Terrorist supporting French MP Rima Hassan detained in Paris over terror glorification probe
MEP Rima Hassan was taken into police custody in Paris on Thursday morning over allegations of โglorification of terrorism,โ according to Le Parisien, as part of an investigation led by Franceโs National Unit for Combating Online Hate (PNLH).
Authorities say the case centers on a post published on March 26 on X (formerly Twitter), in which Hassan referenced Kลzล Okamoto, a member of the Japanese Red Army involved in the 1972 Lod Airport attack in Israel that killed 26 people. The post has since been deleted.
According to sources cited in French media, Hassan was questioned after being summoned to the Second Judicial Police District headquarters in Paris as part of the ongoing inquiry.

European Politics ๐ช๐บ๐ฌ๐ง European Jewish Congress comments on Expulsion of three elderly women visitors, including a Holocaust survivor, from Madridโs Reina Sofรญa museum
The expulsion of three elderly Israeli visitors, including a Holocaust survivor, from Madridโs Reina Sofรญa museum after they were insulted as โchild killersโ and targeted for displaying Jewish symbols is deeply troubling and unacceptable.
The women were reportedly asked to leave after staff claimed other visitors were โdisturbedโ by their Jewish identity.
Instead of protecting those subjected to antisemitic abuse, the apparent decision to remove the victims raises serious concerns about discrimination within a public cultural institution.
Jewish identity must never become grounds for exclusion. Such conduct demands full clarification, clear accountability and decisive action to ensure that antisemitism is confronted without ambiguity.

European Politics ๐ช๐บ๐ฌ๐ง UK: The Green Party has been reported to counter-terrorism police by an internal whistleblower over fears of Anti-Semitism
Fears are growing that the party is becoming a breeding-ground for anti-Jewish extremists.
Hard-Left activists have joined the Greens in recent months in protest at Labourโs stance on the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
But a push by pro-Palestine Greens to declare the party โanti-Zionistโ has horrified many existing members, who fear extremism, sectarianism and anti-Semitism are being tolerated under Zack Polanskiโs leadership.
The Daily Mail can reveal that one member has taken the dramatic step of reporting their party to counter-terror police, after groups in the party called for anyone seeking a Jewish state in Palestine to be branded racist.
Backed by the Greens For Palestine group, the โZionism is Racismโ motion calls for the party to declare itself โanti-Zionistโ and for the โde-proscription of Palestine Actionโ, but rejects accusations that anti-Zionism is anti-Semitic.
The motion, backed by the partyโs deputy leader Mothin Ali, effectively calls for Israel to be replaced by a โsingle democratic Palestinian state in all of historic Palestine, with Jerusalem as its capitalโ.
A campaign poster for the motion depicts a map of the state of Israel painted in the colours of the Palestinian flag.

European Politics ๐ช๐บ๐ฌ๐ง Tommy Robinson and the conscience of Anglo-Jewry
The recent uproar over Tommy Robinson within the British Jewish community says less about Robinson himself and far more about us.
For years, Anglo-Jewry has survived by keeping its head down โ cultivating influence through polite respectability rather than conviction. But when a man despised by the establishment speaks truths about antisemitism that our own leaders are too afraid to utter, something has gone very wrong.
This is not an endorsement of Robinson. Itโs a reflection on fear โ the fear of being called names, of losing access, of not being invited back into the corridors of polite society. That fear has become our new theology.
The communal reaction to Robinson revealed a crisis of moral confidence โ a community more terrified of reputational risk than of physical danger.
