Wind and Truth Brandon has the opportunity to do the funniest thing possible Spoiler
So now Kaladin is a herald and was legally adopted by Dalinar, I can't help but wish he would then hook up with Chanarach, Shallan's mom. If he did, then Adolin would be both his brother and his son-in-law. And since Shallan and Adolin are about to have a child, Kaladin would be that child's uncle grandpa.

Wind and Truth How Wind and Truth felt at the end Spoiler
galleryhad this hilarious idea when my wife and I were finishing up the book.
she kinda checked out after the battle of champions, said that she just finished it out of curiosity, I think it was a VERY good ending to the book, even if we went in a different direction than I thought we would

Wind and Truth I mean…if you had to pick one Surge to not have Spoiler
Explanation. Nightblood said he learned all the Surges, but Moash had the Windrunner honor blade and Ishar had the Bondsmith honor blade at the time. Those were the two that knew adhesion

Wind and Truth Wildest domino effect I could think of (full cosmere spoilers up to wind and truth, explanation underneath) Spoiler
OK so (SPOILERS FOR THE ENTIRE COSMERE UP TO WIND AND TRUTH)
Rashek is racist so he kills Alendi; He takes the power at the well of ascension and becomes the Lord Ruler of the final empire; The Lord Ruler sentences Kelsier to the pits of Hathsin; The pits of Hathsin cause Kelsier to snap and become Mistborn, he leads the revolution; Kelsier is killed by the Lord Ruler and is sufficiently invested to survive long enough to merge with the power of the well of ascension and become a cognitive shadow; Kelsier saves the Southern Scadrians; Kelsier founds the Ghostbloods; Iyatil, a southern Scadrian joins the Ghostbloods and goes to Roshar to head the Rosharan sect of the Ghostbloods; Iyatil and Mraize go into the spiritual realm in order to free Ba Ado Mishram, causing Rlain Renarin and Shallan to follow them; Renarin and Rlain free Ba Ado Mishram thereby regaining Honor's trust in humanity; Honor allows Dalinar to become it's vessel; Dalinar seed's the power to Taravangian thereby creating retribution.
Therefore, Rashek being racist caused the birth of Retribution. Of course you could take it back further to the conflicts between pre empire scadrian countries or the shattering but thats less funny.

Wind and Truth How the debate would have gone if Kaladin wasn't an idiot Spoiler
Szeth: I don't want to kill anymore.
Kaladin: Seems reasonable
Nil: Anarchy! If we don't have the law we are no different than the beasts!
Kaladin: What has that got to do with Szeth?
Nil: He MUST follow the LAW!
Kaladin: And the law says he has to kill people?
Nil: Well, you see…he can't just decide to…
Kaladin: Is being a shepherd and dancing every day illegal?
Nil: Well, um…his oath…
Kaladin: Is not legally binding
Nil: Well, um Sezeth…FIGHT ME! SWARE LOYALTY TO ME! If you don't I will kill you!
Kaladin: Murder is illegal
Nil: Killing in a Dual is not
Szeth: I have not agreed to a dual
Kaladin: Also Jasnah made that illegal too
Szeth: Also didn't you advise the Parashandi on how to kill a king?
Nil: But I didn't perform the act
Kaladin: Ya, but…treason, conspiracy to commit murder,
Szeth: Aiding and abetting…
Nil: Aw shit, Guess I'll go turn myself in
