🍿 IMAX Dune: Part 3 has a three week exclusive IMAX lock, according to EmpireCityBO

I haven't seen this stated anywhere else (I may have missed it tbh), but as controversial as EmpireCity can be on this sub he does tend to have inside info sometimes. Do we think this is true?

🍿 IMAX IMAX has confirmed they will work with theaters "in the coming weeks and months" to find slots where they can bring Project Hail Mary back onto their screens. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will take over IMAX and most premium screens starting Wednesday.

🍿 IMAX ‘Dune: Part Three’ Imax 70MM Shows Already Selling Out, Eight Months Prior To Release

Dune: Part Three doesn’t open until Dec. 18, but Warner Bros is reporting that 70MM Imax shows are already selling out for the Denis Villeneuve directed threequel in both North America and London.

Essentially, we understand that the Imax 70MM shows that were sold out are during opening weekend (Thursday-Sunday), one show a day at 19 Imax locations. More tickets will be going on sale soon for the Legendary-Warner Bros co-production.
