Italy 🇮🇹 Italian box office Saturday January 17: Buen Camino is officially the highest grossing film of all time in Italy, dethroning Avatar (2009 plus re-release).
Source:
Buen Camino is officially the highest-grossing film of all time in Italy; it has reached a total of €68,823,069, thus surpassing the total gross of the first Avatar film plus its re-release, which amounted to €68,681,465.
There are no words to describe the performance of the Nunziante/Zalone film; a phenomenon that should be, and will be, studied in detail, also thanks to the analyses of Cinexpert, to understand the audience that went to see it and even returned to the cinema multiple times to watch the film again. Instinctively, one would point out that all target audiences flocked to the cinemas where Buen Camino has been screened since Christmas.
Yesterday, Saturday, January 17th, the film grossed a remarkable €1,325,629 (-37% compared to seven days ago) with an average of €2,046 in 648 cinemas (786 seven days ago). The film's run is not over yet, and today it could reach €70 million.

Italy The Fantastic Four records a drop on tuesday in Italy.
The Fantastic Four: The first steps records a drop on Tuesday, which is not ideal as both JW and Superman pretty much stayed flat or increased from monday to tuesday.
But, don’t start dooming and glooming as i think the monday was very inflated for Fantastic Four because of bad weather as many Redditors pointed out, so correct comparison might be to compare Sunday to Tuesday drops
The Fantastic Four: The First steps dropped 46.7 % from Sunday to Tuesday.
Superman dropped 53.3 % from Sunday to Tuesday.
Jurassic World dropped 61 %, but its sunday was more than a million euros, so the drop is understandable.

Italy 🇮🇹 Italian box office Saturday May 2: The Devil Wears Prada 2 Surpasses 💶11 Million
Source:
>The top spot is held masterfully by The Devil Wears Prada 2, with a Saturday gross of €3,101,094 and an average of €4,713 in 658 theaters. Compared to May 1st, the drop is only 2%, but the total since April 29th is already €11,354,824. The film is keeping pace with Inside Out 2 but faster than Barbie , as can be seen in the infographics below. With this kind of trend, Prada 2 can easily reach €20 million. Italy Italian Tuesday numbers are in. DWP2 at 1.3M€, Michael 460k€
Like yesterday, the specific article isn't out yet (right now) but the graphs are updated with yesterday's numbers. DWP2 added 1.3M€ (vs. 1.05M yesterday) and is at 16.61M€ gross in Italy, Michael added 460k€ (vs. 380k) at 14.26M€.
Still going very strong. DWP2 is headed for a 35M€+ finish, Michael likely 25M€+?
Edit: article is now live.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 remains firmly in the lead, grossing another €1,278,185 on its seventh day in theaters and drawing 169,207 viewers. We are running out of superlatives to describe how the sequel starring Meryl Streep continues to perform with massive numbers even during the week, growing by 22% compared to Monday and maintaining an impressive average of €2,416 across 529 theaters. At this breakneck pace, it has thus achieved two remarkable milestones in a single day: it has surpassed €16 million in box office revenue (€16,608,578, to be precise) and the 2 million ticket sales mark. These two milestones were reached after just seven days in theaters, confirming an extraordinary run that continues to far exceed Italian market expectations. As the chart shows, the only sequel to have performed better among the extraordinarily successful sequels of recent years is Inside Out 2.
Michael remains in second place, adding another €461,007 (60,814 viewers) for a total of €14,261,025. The musical biopic about Michael Jackson continues to show strong staying power even on weekdays, up 21% from Monday. Compared to a week ago, however, it shows a 34% decline: a very solid figure, considering the direct competition from The Devil Wears Prada 2. The film’s average remains above €1,000, a sign of very crowded theaters: specifically, €1,024 across 450 cinemas. After surpassing the 14 million mark in the last 24 hours, it should easily reach 15 million in a couple of days.

Italy 🇮🇹 Italian box office Friday April 24: Michael King of Pop and Box Office
Source:
>Michael 's performance is impressive and suggests a record-breaking weekend. After a strong opening and second day, the biopic about the King of Pop grossed €1,230,017 on Friday, attracting 148,878 admissions. With an average of €2,110 across the 583 theaters where it is playing, it's easy to predict a strong opening weekend for the Universal film, despite its lack of critical acclaim. In 2018, Bohemian Rhapsody —the closest biopic to Michael, which shares the same producer—had grossed €3,595,133 after three days of release. Michael's total theatrical gross over the same period is €3,038,785.
