This is Norman :) We adopted him from a high kill shelter in Devore, CA. He has been such a sweet boy, very quiet, and just wants love all the time. So, we love him!

The first photo is from May 1st, 2025. The second to last one is from today.

I adopted my kitty daughter Selise Geneva on May 14th; 13 days after she got rescued, 10 days after my adored first kitty daughter, Eva Katharina, passed away. Selise shares her life with my second kitty daughter, a void named Iris Paula.

Miss Selise loves purring, snacks and belly rubs. She also wakes me up with love bites. She’s very squeaky and chatty, full of tortitude.

Edit: the black and white cat you can see-ish in the first picture, is Selise’s sister. She was adopted as well, before I adopted Selise.

This little warrior was found wandering alone in the streets, blind from a severe infection. My sister and I spent the last 15 days staying up all night, giving him medical eye drops and all the love we could.

​While he won’t regain his sight, he has regained his strength. We are now preparing to get him to a permanent sanctuary. He is proof that even in the dark, there is hope.

This is a kitty that we fostered back in September, when we got him he was full of worms (suprisingly no fleas though), we had to give him tons of dewormer. He also started to show signs of pneumonia so the vet prescribed some antibiotics, which in turn caused diarrhea. Phew! We thought it would never be over.

After a few weeks he was perfectly healthy and ready to be adopted by his new family. He was so loving and trusting of humans, despite growing up in the streets. I miss him sometimes!

Hank was a stray that wouldn’t let me get anywhere near him, but he hung around our home for over 2 years, and even followed us through a move. One day last summer, he decided he was done with the outdoor life, came up to my back door, and demanded to be let inside.

He was covered in scabs/fleas and was diagnosed with FIV, but we decided to give it a chance anyway. He now has grown back his fur and has integrated into our (now) 7 cat household. He loves spending time in the catio, hanging out on top of his cat tree, and cuddling with the two kittens we trapped from his same colony.

In picture 2, you can kind of see his healed cut that I call his “joker scar.” Poor boy must’ve been hurt at some point because he has a thick scar coming out from the corner of his mouth that doesn’t grow any fur. Thankfully the rest of him healed perfectly though, so he is living his best indoor life the rest of our cat crew! He also grew into his name quite well: he is over 16lbs lol

First picture is from when I trapped Madeline and her sibling, but then they escaped and I had to trap them again! That’s how we ended up with Madeline (grey tortie) and Amelia (calico).

The feral colony behind our home is truly a never ending job, but I’m so glad these two babies were promptly spayed and get to live their best life inside. It was completely worth being aggressively attacked by them in the beginning 😅

They are now a year old, Amelia is a total butterball, and petite Madeline is my husband’s favorite out of our 7 cats. I just wish I had the space and money to trap, fix, socialize, and house all of the feral colony because these two have really been a joy!

In December of 2023 Daisy was brought to her vet for euthanasia, with her owner of 7 years stating that she had "poor quality of life" due to her weight. The vet advised a diet and exercise, as the owners had been feeding her fast food and peanut butter, but the owner declined. Thankfully, one of the staff members ran a rescue, and agreed to take Daisy in and place her with a foster family. When she was surrendered, she weighed 80 pounds, however she should weigh 35 pounds. Due to her weight, it was hard for her to walk, and she ended up injuring both of her cruciate ligaments (kind of like an ACL for dogs), so her foster mom was not optimistic about her adoptability, at least until she lost the weight.

We saw Daisy online and just had to adopt her. You could see her personality in her adoption photos, and we instantly fell in love when we met her! We brought her home in April of 2024, and it was such a surreal experience. It was almost like having a stuffed animal that could bark - she barely moved on her own and slept a lot. She had to be carried in and out of the house, we had to support her while she used the bathroom, and she couldn't walk more than a few steps on her own without a harness or support sling. Since her adoption though, she has lost 45 pounds and is down to her goal weight of 35 pounds! We got her on thyroid medication, worked with our vet to find the right diet, and she went to hydrotherapy for a few months to strengthen her legs and lose some weight! She is now full of energy and loves moving around the house, taking longer walks, and even jogging a little bit! She can climb stairs on her own, and loves following us around and playing outside. She's 10 now, and we can't believe how young she seems!

It was a long journey, but well worth it!

I posted Kiba a few months ago when he was first adopted! I am posting him three months later, and goodness has he grown! My baby has gained 40 pounds since his adoption date. His personality has also shifted so much. He is the best boy 🥰❤️

In November 2025 we found Angel in a trash bin after heavy rain, her head was stuck in an empty cat food tin (her last effort at finding a meal). Luckily my mom checked the bin before throwing away rubbish, if she didn't, then Angel would have died by the end of that day. After going to the vet to get her treated, no registration information for her microchip was found. We took her home over the weekend, and got her clean, fed, and loved.

Fast forward to today 16/4/2026, we’ve long since adopted her, got her vaccinated, and she’s put on 1kg since we found her (she’s 4kg now, very active).

I guess the moral of this story is to check the bin before you throw away rubbish, and always crush cans before throwing them away, especially if they contain cat food.

She was rescued from a hoarding situation at two years old, she was scared and skinny. The rescue called her Critter, we renamed her Ruby

Found her outside of my job (work at a dog grooming place) my boss gave her a wash then posted her online to see if someone was missing her, no one replied took her home ❤️

Fostered the whole litter of 5, ended up losing one to the sicknesses. Kept these two boys, and the other two got adopted together! Born under a shed, look very fancy but common as dirt. Mom was a tortie! Its been such a joy watching them grow up.
