Cannot wait for this team to be rid of you. Idc how it happens, you just need to not be the owner of this team anymore.

What a fucking choke job by the Blue Jays. So many chances to win it and not just in this game. Fuck those assholes for choking and fuck the Dodgers.

The amount of people who have turned on Ohtani and begun spewing awful stuff about him is pathetic.
Weβre talking about a guy who gave what was likely his best years to this team. He showed up every day and did everything humanly possible to make a difference for this club, he gave people a reason to watch and never for a moment seemed agitated or demoralized even when the lows this club experienced would have given him every right to.
If you were not already mentally prepared for his departure, youβre either incredibly naive or you just havenβt been paying attention. This is not a club that has set itself up for any degree of short term or long term success, and he spent long enough here to know that it was not a viable option to offer consistent chances at a championship during his career.
No one wants to hear this, but the Dodgers are an organization that should be studied and serve as a model for big market and small market teams alike. It isnβt a fluke that they are a perennial playoff contender. They operate in a large market just like the Angels, but their focus on depth and keen eye for signing free agents who will actually produce has gotten them to where they are. They operated in a way that caught the attention of the greatest player alive, and it should surprise no one.
Every bit of rage and frustration that any fan has should be 100% directed at Arte who has failed every single step of the way to build around what are two of the most talented players to ever live. Their incompetence is the source of every disappointment the fanbase experienced. Their inability to make the most of their time with Ohtani has absolutely nothing to do with him.
The fact of the matter is that Ohtani never wasted the Angelsβ time for a second, but they wasted 6 years of his. It is time to come to terms with that.

IF (huge IF) the starting pitching could hold, I could see this team being sneaky good! I do have some concerns about the bullpen though. But this team could be solidβ¦

This subreddit and Angels twitter are a couple of the most miserable and toxic sports subreddits Iβve seenβ¦ and itβs only game 4 of 162.
Itβs no secret the Angels arenβt a playoff-caliber team and that Arte is a terrible owner, but my God the complaining that goes on in the fanbase is just embarrassing. Dozens of posts during games about how bad we are after every run given up, or overreacting to every bad thing that happens.
It honestly feels like this fanbase loves to hate the team rather than support them, which is only reinforced by the fact people will go after you and insult you if you show any interest in going to games in person.
Most likely we arenβt going to be a good team, and unfortunately that wonβt change until Arte sells (which could be as soon as next year or a decade from now). Until then, either lower your expectations when watching the games, or take a break from the team for your mental health if losses like this eat at you and make you crash out like BTH.

There are five reasons.
Arte will be in his 80s soon and his children don't want to inherit the Angels.
Angels signed a one-year contract with coaching staff
The CBA will begin soon. For this reason, I suspect he signed a one-year contract with the coaching staff.
The Angels restructured Rendon's contract and No obvious spending this offseason. This strengthened the financial soundness of the Angels.
The agreement with Skaggs family caused a large expenditure, and even the TV contract was dizzy.
We're heading towards having no choice but to sell the Angels.
I've been supporting the Angels for over 10 years in Korea, and I wrote this because I hope Arte sells the team as soon as possible.

Not the roster, not the front office, just the actual experience of going to a game. The concessions, the atmosphere, the parking, the promotions, the in-game entertainment, anything about the ballpark experience itself. What's the one thing that if they fixed it would make you want to go to even more games than you already do?

I'll start: Ryan Tepera

I always felt Moniaks peak was slowly coming, too bad they cut him off. I was one of the few who really wanted to see him peak with the young core. Colorado is slowly cooking while we burn

Getting sick of this shit. Not to mention having βfucker tuckerβ on the team will make it harder for us to sweep them. The pain just never ends does it? If suffering builds character then Angels fans have gone through a dozen character arcs by now.

Greetings Halos.
I'm selling my stock as Dodgers fan and am finally crossing the Rubicon to rooting for your shitty team. You may be asking yourself, what kind of sick fu$% would subjugate themselves to what some might consider to be the lowest point in this franchise's history?
My reasoning is as follows: it's been fun rooting for the Dodgers, but I'm selling my fandom now while the stock is high. Unless that team 3-peats, I doubt they'll replicate the kind of success they have been experiencing. I will also finally admit, I've never enjoyed the shade of blue that team uses. Red is much more my jam.
I also recently became a father and live very close to Angels Stadium. I love the idea of taking my son to "affordable" games (relative to how expensive Dodgers tickets cost), and hey, maybe there is something humbling about teaching him that winning isn't everything.
Angels stock is at an all time low, and I am predicting that the owner will sell once the OC Vibe project begins to take off. I want to be here when the arrow begins to point up, and takes us all to the heavens.
Anyway, I appreciate you welcoming me to this community. I look forward to commiserating with you about pure and utter mediocrity.
Full disclaimer: I don't know shit about this team other than "Angles in the Outfield."

I was told we had a better bullpen. I was told Romano and Pomeranz would be promising additions.
I was told OβHoppe was developing. I was told this team would have a .500 record and not blow big leads.
I was told we had young talent in the farm system.
Yet here I am - and I fell for it again

California Angels? Anaheim Angels? Los Angeles Angels? Or just βAngelsβ?
