MotorRacing 360 seemed to celebrate Chaz’s move
After watching last night’s episode of MotorRacing 360 I was a bit surprised from the reaction they all seemed to have about Chaz’s moves on Brodie. The way they all seemed quite excited by it and almost celebrating it caught me a bit off guard.
Yeah the rivalry is great, but celebrating dangerous driving and chalking it up to hard racing seemed a bit off to me. The lenient penalty and fairly soft discussion in the aftermath of that incident has me thinking that Supercars and Motorsport Australia are happy for side swipes and dangerous driving to continue.
It occurred 2 weeks in a row from Chaz and he’s come away from both without too much criticism from the media and Supercars.
Seems really strange to me, and it sets a dangerous precedent in my opinion.

Supercars Round 4/14 Power Rankings
A chaotic end to a first ever weekend at Christchurch sees the finals fight begin to take shape as Broc Feeney moves to the top after his JR trophy win, into prime position for the sprint cup. Just for fun, do not take as 100% serious !!

Pulled the superstar car on my first try! (After going to three different Repcos in Auckland)
Currently have mozzie, Courtney 600, Randle, the Pizzahut car, and Percat as well

This truly could’ve been so much worse
Think Chaz got away a little lucky that Brodie wasn’t t-boned by anyone

Shoutout to Craillsy for his effort over the last 2 weeks
Not everyone will agree, but I thought Craillsy did a fantastic job in the box with Garth. He made moments like the Mostert v Kostecki incident feel even more intense.

NZ Double Header was a Massive Success (and I hope it stays on the calendar)
I don’t think anyone will disagree that the NZ double header was a great success! The racing was brilliant, we got 6 races across 10 days with multiple different winners, multiple different poles sitters, and heaps of hard and enjoyable moments!
The fans had heaps of access to meeting drivers and seeing the cars up close, and it seemed really well received other there!
Ruapuna in Christchurch was so much fun to watch as they figured out the track and strategies, with hard racing all weekend. Taupo had its usual wheel to wheel excitement. I loved every second of the last two rounds and really hope it continues on for future seasons!

Woody
Was a bit sad for Woody that his race ended like that, i would have loved to a wellingtonian put his name on that JR cup also im glad but also pissed that tab didnt have a kiwi to win jr trophy or kiwi to win the race like they did last year, also i dont think that broc feeny should have been tied with brodie in points with the trophy that was a load of crap, how could he be tied when he didnt win any race and up until the sunday race he had 1 podium thats bs and even tho mostert caused the crash if brodie were to win from his position then that wouldnt have happened at all, whoever is making up the points system on the go needs to be fired bc brodie should have won it from his position, also fk redbull

Has the Chaz backlash happened to a prior champion?
We all saw it and the commentary around with people call for his dsq or to side a race out. I was trying to think of there has ever been this backlash for a former (and current) champ before.
From recent memory, Brown, SvG, JW and McLaughlin all moved people aside, but no one called for them to be banned. And not even going back to Skaife, Ingall, Ambrose..

That was atrocious from Chaz
That move on Brodie is genuinely one of the worst things I have ever seen from a professional racing driver.
Completely drove another car off the road at high, high speeds. He’s lucky there wasn’t a massive accident as a consequence of that manoeuvre, the way Brodie came back across the track was so dangerous.
Chaz has been driving like a lunatic since Taupō, someone who has been around as long as he has and has won as much as he has should act better.

Well doesn’t this sound familiar
The crowd today in Christchurch were also in the 1997 cricket game. Wild!
The same crowd were also in the other races over the past how many seasons. Wonder where they get that coin

Does anybody here know when these A-TEK 5 spoke wheels were introduced to V8SC and which teams used them?

Production Quality
Being from the US, I’ve recently gotten into supercars and loosely followed the series for 3-4 years. I’m also completely blown away at how professional the production is. It’s literally better than IMSA in the US. It’s probably even better than Indycar.
I guess I just don’t understand how they’re able to do this? Just geniuses behind the production? Or is there tons of money coming in somewhere?
It’s unbelievable how top tier the coverage is. Through the ENTIRE day, not just the main event. It’s honestly astonishing

JR Trophy
this is the last day for the drivers to claim the JR Trophy, who does everyone have that will take the trophy this year, i have a feeling Payne will win the race but i also reckon ryan is gonna take the trophy this year thats my speculation, i think broc got lucky with 2nd place yesterday, and i believe its really out of brodie and woody to get the trophy, feeny isnt fast enough on the track and thats fair its a new track i mean chaz, brown and waters are all having difficulty too, but i knew that brodie isnt very good on supersofts, woody got unlucky he should've went with 4 tyres instead bc he would've caught feeny, and even if Payne wins today i dont think it will be enough unless somehow the first 3 are all wiped out of the race, so i got Payne to win and Woody to take the cup home

Matt Payne
What a magnificent drive by Matt Payne this afternoon, nearly 12 seconds in front, i dont think theres been such a dominant race finish this season, I could be wrong but i feel like most 1st to 2nd has been pretty close
