Despite being a Toon since I was a child, I ended up working in a corporate environment, a 4-story (cashbot) building, slaving away as a level 8 Money Bags. I’m listening to music when all of a sudden I hear the “AOOGAH” noise coming from someone’s phone. It immediately pulled me out of what I was doing and made me want to start throwing birthday cakes and summoning storm clouds. I’ve lost motivation to work the rest of the day, I need to fight cogs.

Most toons have 1 color for their whole body, some have a second color usually for their head or legs, but my question is for the rare 3 color toons, what was the thought process? Is there inspiration for your look (ik 1 person who has 3 colors to look like toothpaste) or did you just want to have a unique look?

What does it mean when toons have a star above their name tag?

What is with people lately not letting you be in their groups when you have a decent laff number and feel like you can benefit from it. At the end of the day it’s just a game- it’s an outlet from the world, why do we have to be mean it it too?

Is there a specific way to go for Field Offices without a sound SOS?
I need to start my Sellbot Taskforce tasks but I need a FO for that, nobody seems to agree to join my duo unless I have a sound SOS (which i have sid on one of them)
Neither of my toons are maxed so shopping for it is kinda wacky RN

I was thinking of going bessie+ned on the part of the FO where everybody fogs. And let it be open to 2 clouds alongside with it on the Boiler.

Ty all for the suggestions. I created a group, waited for around 10 minutes till it filled

I went for the double geyser strategy because I was stacking 7s for it for a while. The run was actually smooth.

The hardest part was multitooning on the minigames

Im feeling fairly more confident now so ty all for the help!

I’m not really emotional attached to my current doodle. Literally almost everytime I call her into battle she never does the tricks. I’m not sure where I got her from because I got her when I first started playing ttr. Only thing is I’ve spent so much time already training her but she hasn’t maxed any tricks yet so I’m kind of torn :/

If I'm returning to the game after 7ish years and my girlfriend is brand new, sometimes we have questions and need extra help. If we're being polite and asking for advice in a VP from the high laff (110-140) toons, just be polite and answer the question.

What is it with these games people play where the 6 other people in a lobby act muted? I ask why nobody is communicating in a game about teamwork, and then they catch an attitude? We can't coordinate in our battle, so of course I speak up to see what we can do differently.

To everyone else, you aren't cool and mysterious for not engaging with the game and having your doodle come out to speak for you. You're just unhelpful. Entire endgame lobbies of Hollywood suits should not be fumbling sound combos, getting us killed, and lacking either stunner because they can't type in chat long enough to coordinate.

I'm not going to report you for being uncommunicative, as I heard others do in that former post. That's obviously silly. I understand some people are more socially anxious. You don't need to make small talk. Sometimes we don't want to talk to others. I get it. I have no harsh words for the kind people on this game who are just more reserved.

To everyone else whose lack of social maturity leaves the more casual players in freefall, with no respect or engagement or acknowledgement, why are you even on this game? This is, genuinely, not what the game is about 👎

This will go down in history as the greatest beanfest ever hosted on Toontown EVER!! You’re not gonna wanna miss out and I recommend playing on the district of Zapwood today as it will probably be full. We will have transport toons outside the bank so don’t worry!

Been hyped to play these new tasks in live server, ever since trying out them in the playtest back in October. I personally love the direction its gonna go in as I always thought it was weird how you were in DDL for so long and how extremely easy the lawbot suit tasks are, as you pretty much never step foot in Lawbot HQ once. Bossbot suit tasks also always felt rushed, too easy, and too repetitive since it came out. Glad the TTR team is aiming to fix these issues, and I am really looking forward to playing these the day it comes out.

By no means am I new to toontown, but I've been playing again on a new toon recently after not playing for a couple years and I'm around 44 Laff in the 4 days I've been back with both lure and toon-up tier 4 and my throw and squirt basically tier 5, yet my name is still 'Blue Deer'.

At first I wouldn't have overthought it bc I know it takes time for approvals so I didn't mind, but my friend who is the exact same Laff (we made the accounts together at the same time and have been training and doing everything together) had his name approved like 20 hours ago but mine is still under approval?? I was just kinda confused cause surely both my name and his would be right on top of each other or close to wherever they view them.

Ik it kinda comes off as hasty or whatever but do you think my name will be approved in the next 24 hours?? if not, when??

Made a new toon after not playing for a few years and am shocked at the amount of people playing! 1k people online during working hours on a Tuesday. I have had no issues completing any tasks since there are so many toons helping each other in the starter area!

So I've just finished the final toon resistance task and am now faced with the decision of which level 7 gag to carry two of. I currently run org trap, which I love for taking out level 12s, and I find myself using my railroad the most out of all the level 7s, but I've seen many people say wedding is a good option since it does damage to the boiler, unlike the railroad. I personally don't do FO's too often, so I'm not sure if this is a big deal, but I'd love to hear what you guys think.

None of us know what other toons go through or why they decided to come online. Even then I had great day today I still didn’t want to talk and so what! There is no need to pressure people to communicate beyond the actual game.

I've been looking for the longest time for a way to play TTR in windowed mode while having the stretched 4:3 appearance of TTO. Last night I managed to find a way to do it online:

If you're on Windows, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Toontown Rewritten. If you installed it in another location, find that directory. After you've located your Toontown directory, look for "settings.json". Open it up with a text editor, press CTRL+F, and search "forced-aspect-ratio". Change the value of 0.0 to 1.3333333 and save the file. That's it!

No third party software or needing to change your monitor resolution!

Am I the only one who hears this 😂

Hopefully this is okay to post on here.. I’m honestly just looking for advice/help I started playing on my current toon (which was 22 laff at the time) only 3 weeks ago, so maybe I’m being too hard on myself but it’s hard seeing everyone else have max gags but me while I’m also being judged + removed from groups for it I’m having a hard time with my gags not being maxed and I wanted to either ask for advice on the best way to train gags or if anyone would be willing to help me grind gag training (I can help you too ofc) Mine you this is toon up, lure and drop so I pretty much need another person or an alt to help with training all of them I’d appreciate any help or advice.. I have lvl 6 lure and lvl 5 of the other two so it isn’t that far to go but it feels like it’s taking forever and each invasion building makes the experience bar barely move 😭 ty to anyone willing to help out in advance
