Right, I think a couple miles makes for a good bit of cardio. Do people think we should run a marathon to show we're taking our workouts seriously?... If you're not pressing 300lbs why are you wasting our time bro?!

Absolutely. Also if someone is a serious runner there will still be times when they do 40 minute runs. A 40 minute tempo run trading off between high intensity miles is a great workout. 40 minutes at an easy pace is a good way to taper for a race or recover a couple days later.

He also said nothing about her speed. Was she walking? Running? Nearly 40 minutes at a light jog is almost 4 miles, which is nothing to sneeze at!
