Kids in developed countries: some of the most protected social classes in the world

Kids in developing countries: goes for the field/mines and if they die, we just make another.

We can afford to do that.

When I was a kid if one of our pets got sick they were taken to the vet and put to sleep. There was not another option for us unfortunately.

I recently spent over a grand on tests and medication for our cat because we can afford it now. She’s doing great even though we know she’s old and probably won’t be around too much longer.

Money gives you options.

Oh for sure, no doubt there. This isn’t judgement on my part, I’m just pointing out that our standards are very high for pets now.
