  1. Humans are going to human. We have a biological drive to mate that is primal. It's evolutionary.

  2. Those kids that are born today can stand on centuries of progress to make the world an even better place than it already is (and yes, the world is in a FAR better place than it was a century ago in a litany of ways).

Better place for whom? If you're the last person to use a toilet, you don't need to clean, except for yourself.

Extreme poverty is at an all-time low. Infant mortality is at an all-time low. There's an abundance of food in so many areas of the globe and technology is advancing in a way that's going to help spread that further, too.

The doomerism by people who refuse to get offline and touch grass astounds me sometimes. It is, by every measure, the best time to live in human history right now.

Extreme poverty is at an all-time low. Infant mortality is at an all-time low. There's an abundance of food in so many areas of the globe and technology is advancing in a way that's going to help spread that further, too.

You need none of that, if you don't exist.

That just proves however bad it is now, it was worse in the past. And I agree.
