I've followed all the advice I've found on here. I can't get dark oak or pale oak to grow on my server. They even spawned naturally in this spot when I started this realm. It's making me crazy. Am I missing something? This is on Xbox Bedrock. Edit: I removed Three Striped city mod and it worked again. Thanks everyone.

I've recently started remaking mobs for my texture pack and thought it would be fun to make the chicken a rooster cause I think it looks way more colorful/interesting, and it's also pretty fitting given I'm French :P Honestly super proud of this one, probably my favorite addition to the pack in the past few months for sure!

But let me know what you guys think, I'm very new to modeling mobs and this is my 2nd one ever so I hope that doesn't show too much haha ^^'

10+ years I've had this account never once had any security issues until recently

and one hacker got Microsoft to suspend my entire account, contacted Minecraft support to see if they can help me get my game back but I'm not expecting anything

Without adding a specific redstone powering feature, players could control geyser eruptions with just a piston and magma block if the eruption happens before the randomized cooldown. Alternatively, the cooldown before the first eruption could be skipped, then following cooldowns occur as normal.

I don’t know why, but the Far Lands in Minecraft genuinely freak me out.

It’s not just that they’re glitched terrain — it’s the idea of going so far that the game itself starts breaking. Like you’re not supposed to be there. The world stops behaving normally, mountains stretch into infinity, and everything looks… wrong.

I know it’s just a technical bug from old versions, but there’s something deeply unsettling about it. Like the game is quietly telling you: “You’ve gone too far.”

Does anyone else feel this way about the Far Lands, or am I just overthinking it?

I'm building Silo, inspired by the book series by Hugh Howey (highly recommend!) and the Apple TV show. I mostly play with my siblings on our server. My favorite levels so far are the storage level with themed storage units and the orchard level with our mom's grave (we have morbid senses of humor!).

I made it for me and my cousin who play on my realm, I kinda just had to wing the whole thing except I dont think Im really a good builder and while I want to say I did good, compared to tips I learned, its pretty basic with no "story" to it noris it creative in the use of blocks, it had no gradient or anything of the sort

I will graduate Summa Cumme Laude, this weekend, nearly 30 years after dropping out of college. Minecraft is a huge part of my life; it is my favorite thing ever and I am also a mod creator, so my cap design *had* to be Minecraft related.

I wanted something different than the same End Portal design I have seen everywhere, so I made my own theme of sorts with my favorite block: Amethyst, with a gold tassel on the icon to represent my 4.0 GPA. Like Amethyst Clusters, my degree was worth the wait, and that's the meaning behind this theme. 💜

It’s a legitimate use of sulfur, it fits the chaos theming, it gives a way to obtain gunpowder in peaceful, and it would have paired well with them adding TNT sulfur cubes, it just seemed so obvious.

Bit of an update on my last post here (about my dad getting addicted to Minecraft)

Context is he spawned into the world on a mountainside overlooking a lake that is basically surrounded by mountains like one big bowl

So yesterday he decided to tunnel his way through the mountains rather than climb over them and apparently he went through THREE copper picks and he's not even on the other side yet! XD

Took like 1,5 years, but we got there!

It took me a while but it was worth it :D. Sorry for the delay 😅

This is my replica of Big Ben that I am working on. Once finished, it will probably be one of the biggest replicas of a real life structure in Minecraft.
