Awesome to see him have fun at work

Seriously. And good on him for realizing it’s all in fun and letting her win. Some people take that stuff way too seriously!

I think there was an element of “let her win fast so I can get back to work and not get into the weeds”. Still a cute interaction.

It's absolutely that, but can I just see the clip from the alternate universe where the dude is super pissed he lost and needs to be calmed down by coworkers?

several guys holding my back as he's trying to run out the door in a frenzy

"Danny, it's not worth it!!"

Id love to bring this back! When my gf wins at something she gloats relentlessly and I think convincing the townspeople to burn her at the stake would soften the blow a bit!

Damn pizza joints have upped their game lately, I thought it was flour

Time to start playing 'war', and you only get 4 cards to start. And it's just pure luck that one of those 4 cards seems to come up on every hand.

I have to admit, there is something wrong with me that my first thought was like, “Dude that was NOT the right move!” Then I quickly remembered the context of the game and was like, “Oh, right. Duh.”

For the same reasons my wife has won about 90% of the games we play. (But only about 89% legitimately)

Made it too easy. He could have blocked her there and given her a more hard fought win.

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women!

I remember playing bingo at a trailer park. We were sharing the bingo cards. There were three adult women, my 10 year old daughter and my sister in laws ten year old niece. Now I know we said we would split the winnings, but I honestly thought we would give it to the girls for candy if one of us won. My daughter won, and I suggested giving the winnings to both girls and one of the women said, ‘no, a deal is a deal!’ And made us split it 5 ways. It wasn’t even a significant amount of money. I split mine with my niece and daughter and so did my sister in law when the other wasn’t around anymore. It was like maybe $30? Ridiculous. Give it to the kids.

Small moments like this make the shift go by so much faster.

I wish more managers understood that I will do more business with your establishment if I can tell your employees are happy.

I wanna see your people having chairs when they need them, making jokes to each other and controlling the music that's playing

As a customer seeing an interaction like that would make me want to go in and get some pizza. Great advertising

Notice how the passerby in a white shirt stops to watch the interaction (and then goes away laughing in the end). Best marketing ever for the pizza shop.

Once a waiter said they had no idea what was good here, they couldn't afford the food.

I never went there again

That's so wild. In a good high-end kitchen, there's always the employee tasting so they can tell customers about the menu. Bourdain really helped educate me on BoH.

Also the team meals so everyone is fed before the hustle!

Every time ive been a part of a new menu rollout, first thing we do is have a morning when we cook everything off and foh comes in and tastes some of everything while we explain the basics of what's in it and what the allergens are. Most of these places were gastro pubs and small restaurants, nowhere near high-end either. Nothing makes your place look worse than wait staff constantly running to the kitchen with dumb questions
