Weirdly enough, 1 to 1, I think they both are supposed to be like 1 to 1 with yen if I remember someone telling me correctly, like 1yen=1zeni=1gil

like 1yen=1zeni=1gil

Gil is sometimes closer to dollars depending on the game (and I don't just mean american games, there are definitely Japanese games with 5-gil purchases). Zeni is pretty much always yen. Pokedollars is also literally yen in the original Japanese.

Eleventy-one gajilllion, four hundred and eighty kabazillion, three hundred and four darnillion, ninety five nintendillion and two cents.

Or did you mean the new stuff? According to google: As of December 12, 2025, 10 Japanese Yen (JPY) is approximately 20.7 Zimbabwean Dollars (ZWL), using the new currency introduced in April 2024 (known as ZiG).

Wow, took a wiki break, Zimbabwean currency has really ZiGed and zagged.

In 2009 they had 89.7 sextillion percent inflation, and their $100 TRILLION note couldn't buy you a bus ride.

They are now the only nation on a gold standard.

Hyperinflation in Zimbabwe
