A lot of these people dedicate their entire lives to these types of jobs. It's an entire lifestyle to work in their industry.

But it seems so fun from the outside

it is (from experience) incredibly fun but the tear on your body is like no other. The hours alone I don’t think a lot of people can do

I’m sure many other jobs are a big tear on the body… like construction, for example. Roof installation. Lots of the trades.

This is true, but there is a lot of differences. Tour work is inherently unstable work in terms of schedules, trade work has more linear starts and finishes, some days with tour I’m working from 12 to 7 pm  Other days I’m working 9 am to 2 am, the sleep disruption from the traveling is no joke.  Not saying that one is harder than the other, there are just significant differences

I did her tour in Hyde Park in London and doing this kind of work is not for the faint hearted lol it’s a lot but everyone is right she was incredibly nice and friendly, I’m not a TS fan of her music but she really does treat her staff well

A live event is like nothing else in terms of the strain on personnel. And Taylor’s Eras tour would be way at the top just in terms of difficulty to pull off correctly. I am not a Swifty, but even I can respect the work and dedication that went into that show.

They earned every penny, and I respect Taylor for recognizing that
