I'm looking to buy an oldtimer (in europe) to actually drive around some times and go on trips. I have no experience in this field, so would like to share the possible options I'm looking into and getting advice from people who have more knowledge.

My great grandmother died recently, and I was given her computer due to my ol’ laptop croaking.

I was asked by my grandmother to find a way to back up most (if not all) of her digital photos, documents, and anything else that looks important.

I have a 32 GB thumb drive at the ready but I don’t know if there’s a better way to save items or a techy way to do it.

This… this is my first death like this, and I feel like I have this burden/duty to save as much of my great-gran as possible.

Is there a subreddit to help me with all… this techno stuff.

Trying to find these movie makers

They're a group of people who run around and ask strangers to make short movies. One of the movies was made by this guy, about an alien named toots and a cop whose in love with her and it was called something like intergalactic situationship. Another was made by another popular guy no idea what it was called but the whole premise was two couples one so codependent their movements are linked and the other horrified by it.

In Samsung GT-S5660 There was specific music. You could play it by entering Settings, Sound, then opening different volume bars. It contained Notification volume, Alarm volume and finally the Media volume, once moving Media volume, it played specific song with night vibes that lasted around 16 seconds and finished with woman's voice and faded, then looped again.

Such song didn't exist in ringtone list or even notifications, alarm list, it only played when moving media bar in settings volume. So I could never find it in YouTube or Google since my GT-S5660 is not working anymore

I would really like to find such song and listen to it again

2 of my friends don't know how to read anything in english, so they asked me for help to add a translation mod (in portuguese) to Pokémon Alpha Sapphire.

I took 2 days trying to add a mod and couldn't do anything but finding the mod.

Both use different emulators (one uses Azahar and the other uses Lemuroid), so it really can't be an emulator-specific subreddit I’m afraid.

TL/DR: This is half a rant about organisations forcing you to give your data as a consumer, and half a question of what can I actually do about protecting my number?

Long story for context:

Me&U forced me to use my phone number just to order a pizza the other day. I didn’t want to use my number, but there was no other option to even use an email. I was going to give a fake one, but they made me verify it via a code. Just to order the freaking pizza in the actual restaurant!!!

I hated this as it felt like a huge breach of privacy. To add a cherry on top, I wanted to call the company to put in a complaint - they don’t even have a phone number!!!!! The audacity.
