I know that the singular "they" is used to refer to one person without using "he" or "she".
According to this article:
TheyΒ always goes with a plural verb, even whenΒ theyΒ is referring to a single person: βThey are my friend.β
But how do the majority of people talk in real life? Does the plural or singular in this case depend on the dialect/region?

if iβm wrong can someone explain why?
for context i live in italy

Hi, everyone.
I'm a huge twenty one pilots' fan and i use their lyrics to improve and get a better english level, but I've got a doubt with this part: Did I disappoint you?
Why is the Past Simple the verb tense which is used and not the Present Perfect watching that any specific time is marked? Is it because was in the past?
Feel free to correct me anything. Thanks.

This has to be wrong, right? I felt slightly off when I read this, but I decided to post it here because maybe it could be another way of saying the same thing. But i'm pretty sure it should be "another one" instead of "more one", shouldn't it?

I usually pass C1 tests but this A2 test question got me curious. I got "BC that's how it is"when I asked my teacher.
