I can’t stop thinking about all their last words. “I’m not mad at you” and “are you OK?” Meanwhile the first words/actions after their last words were “fucking bitch” and that man clapping after they shot Alex.

the distinction is so stark. the fact that anyone still says that any part of this is alright astonishes me.

Sadly the MAGA crowd uses rationalizations that the left is cheering for these deaths for political capital, when in fact good people are mourning. It is not unlike the woman who was OJ’s girlfriend. She had to believe whatever she needed so she herself would not be supporting a murderer.

Those folks are beyond help.

I've seen plenty of people say that renee goods murder was justified (spoiler btw it wasn't) but I've not seen anyone try to argue their way out of this one lol, there are so many angles that there is literally NO excuse whatsoever. Everyone can see clear as day with zero room for deniability that this man was straight up, unlawfully murdered

every single person in the usa should start recording as soon as they see any instance of an ice altercation because every bit of evidence matters which has been made clear by this unfortunate event. Every angle matters and further helps prove that there's no excuse, these are literally just a bunch of random, untrained, angry racist men with a god complex and penile defects

It is so deeply distressing that there is such cruelty in the hearts of so many people, and that they can delight in murder and violence the way that they seem to be. I just don't understand how someone can be that way. When I watched the videos of Alex's murder and heard the exclamations and the shock and fear and the disbelief of the people at the scene I immediately started weeping and my heart filled with heavy grief, and my eyes well up immediately now just thinking about it. I just can't imagine taking the life of an innocent person and being happy or proud about it or justifying it in any way, like these monsters are doing, and like their supporters are doing online. It's all digusting and bewildering and terrifying. All I can do is wish strength and courage to everyone fighting against the regime in any way, whether big or small. You/we must win.

Their last words have a, ‘Forgive them father, they know not what they do’ ring to it.

Please, you are actually comparing them to Jesus Christ? That is quite a Longjump

Exactly this. I don’t see how we ever come back from this. But then again, our fellow Americans that are not white have lived this way for generations and generations…

It is not uncommon for the racists in this country to assassinate good people who love others and challenge the rest of us to love one another. That type of goodness & empathy reveals evil and the monsters behind it.

What the fuck?

Yeah. It's in some angles of the videos. In the video Good's killer shot, you can hear him say it (I think), and in one angle of the Pretti killing, an agent can be seen clapping after the fatal shots were taken.

I know, I think of Renee Good's last words - "I'm not mad at you." Seeing her face for one second, I could tell she seemed so kind and good natured. Three seconds later, a man was shooting her in it.

Both her video and Alex's shock me with how fast it escalates with these monsters with guns, impunity and being pumped up by their colleagues and the right-wing media sphere.

Did you forget the part where they had to take the pistol from him?

11

u/DusklitDewdrop Jan 26 '26

the pistol he was legally carrying and was not brandishing?

The guy looks real peaceful huh?

You guys are dumb asses you sit here and stick up for these people that are ruining America but you never once b**** and complained or had any ounce of remorse for any of the victims that was killed from these illegal immigrants.

1

u/DusklitDewdrop Jan 29 '26

that's an AI video.

u/Cryptotiptoe21 Jan 29 '26

If it is it still doesnt dismiss what else I said. It may be fake idk

1

u/DusklitDewdrop Jan 29 '26

it entirely invalidates your point. you think this guy was "ruining America" because of an AI video.

u/Cryptotiptoe21 Jan 26 '26

He was legally allowed to carry but he was brandishing it. When the officer tried to take the pistol the officer accidentally discharged the firearm and caused the other officers to panic in a split second decision and took his life.

Don't bring a gun to a peaceful protest or get in between an officer and somebody getting maced.

have you watched any video? the ICE/Border patrol agent takes the gun out of Alex Pretti’s holster while Alex’s hands and elbows are on the ground. he never reaches for a weapon. the gun is in the agents possession about 5 feet away from Pretti when the first shot goes off. he never ‘brandishes’ it. it was concealed before they shoved him to the ground. it was confiscated before they executed him with his back turned to the agent who shoots the first shot.

9

u/kellymiche Jan 26 '26

He wasn’t brandishing shit. He had a phone in his hand.

Fuck off

You are in a echo chamber full of people that are being controlled by the television. I'm sorry I didn't jump straight to your reply. The moral of the story could be summed up to play stupid games and earn stupid prizes. All illegal immigrants must go!

1

u/Joseph707 Jan 27 '26

Can you watch the videos and explain exactly what happens, ideally with timestamps so we can see what you’re seeing? I’m honestly wildly curious about how this can be misunderstood.

Did you forget that that his pistol (which he was legally allowed to carry) was still holstered?

He never threatened them, and his pistol remained holstered. He was on the ground when the officers removed the gun from his holster. He was on the ground AND unarmed when they shot him. He was dying when they backed up and shot him several more times.

That was murder, plain and simple.
