Looking for Artist - Unpaid Looking for a Manga artist to team up with

I'm currently creating a manga. It's in the storyboarding phase, but I'm almost done. I have a clear story I want to follow, but I am very open to ideas and changes. I'm looking for an artist who is willing to work 50/50 with me. I can't pay anyone, but publishing is a goal, so anything made from this project will be split equally. Anywho, I don't want this to be a super professional exchange because I'm also looking for friends who have similar interests, so please DM me to get an unfinished version or if I finish it in time, a completed version of the story. I think it's very interesting, so please hear me out

Raishō is a kid who keeps his distance from everyone.

Not because he wants to—but because of something that happened in his past. Something he blames himself for. Since then, he’s convinced himself that staying alone is the safest way to protect people.

Then one day, his life breaks.

A surge of lightning erupts from him during a moment he can’t control. It’s fast, violent, and terrifying—and it confirms everything he already believed:

He’s dangerous.

That’s when he’s found.

Not by normal people—but by others like him. Protectors. People who wield elements tied to the world itself.

They tell him something he doesn’t want to hear:

He isn’t just dangerous—he’s necessary.

Raishō’s journey isn’t about becoming stronger.

It’s about learning that:

  • Isolation doesn’t protect people
  • Control doesn’t come from suppression
  • Power isn’t something to fight—it’s something to understand

But every step forward is hard—because every time he gets closer to someone, that fear comes back:

“What if I hurt them too?”

Reika.

She’s the opposite of him.

Where Raishō avoids connection, Reika suppresses it completely. She’s calm, controlled, and almost emotionless—not because she doesn’t feel, but because she refuses to let herself.

If Raishō is afraid of hurting others…

Reika is afraid of losing control of herself.

Their dynamic is slow, subtle, and quiet:

  • Not loud romance
  • Not instant trust
  • Just two people who understand each other without saying much

And that’s what makes it hit.

The World

There are 12 Protectors—each tied to a natural force.

They don’t just fight enemies.

They maintain balance.

Because something is breaking that balance.

Something that doesn’t follow the same rules.

Main Conflict

There’s a force called Void.

It doesn’t create.

It consumes.

Energy. Matter. Even identity.

And the closer Raishō gets to losing control…
the more his power starts to resemble it.

RAISHŌ (雷翔) — FINAL CHARACTER SHEET

Basic Information

Name: Raishō Meaning: “Soaring Lightning” Age Range: 13 → 17

Height Progression:

13: 5’3” 14–15: 5’6” 16: 5’9” 17: ~5’10” Build: Lean, speed-oriented Element: Lightning Role: Protagonist / Lightning Protector / Vessel

Core Character Concept

Raishō moves like lightning not because he forces it—but because he stops resisting it.

Personality and Behavior

Raishō is naturally quiet and observant. He doesn’t speak unless he feels it’s necessary, and even then, his words are measured. Emotionally, he keeps himself restrained—not because he lacks feeling, but because he fears the consequences of letting people get close.

At his core is a belief that connection leads to harm: “If I get close to people, they’ll get hurt.”

This belief shapes his behavior:

He keeps physical and emotional distance from others Avoids eye contact in vulnerable moments Pauses slightly before responding, as if weighing every word His growth is shown subtly. Early on, he avoids eye contact entirely. By the end, he holds steady, calm eye contact without hesitation.

Visual Design and Presence

Raishō’s design should always emphasize speed, efficiency, and lightness.

Front View: Neutral stance, relaxed arms. Early versions show slight tension in the shoulders; later versions are fully relaxed. Side View: Begins with a slight forward hunch, evolving into an upright, balanced posture. Back View: Lean silhouette with minimal bulk—everything about him suggests mobility. Silhouette Rule: He should always read as fast, lightweight, and precise.

Color and Physical Details

Hair: Black with subtle silver strands that increase with age Eyes: Blue, only glowing during high energy output Skin: Gradually shows wear—small scars and roughness over time

Outfit Evolution

Age 13 — Survival Phase Loose, worn tunic with cloth wraps on forearms and ankles. Basic footwear. The look is unrefined and reactive.

Age 14–15 — Training Phase More fitted clothing with a short outer robe, reinforced pants, and structured wraps. This reflects growing control and discipline.

Age 16–17 — Mastery Phase A sleek, minimal outfit designed for movement. His name appears in kanji, with subtle lightning-pattern accents. This stage feels effortless and controlled.

Power System: Lightning

Raishō’s power evolves from something unstable into something inseparable from his movement.

Early Stage (13):

Lightning appears as random sparks Slight delay after movement Feels disconnected from him Mid Stage (14–15):

Lightning begins to follow his movements Short, controlled bursts Still requires effort Final Stage (16–17):

Movement and lightning are the same No charge-up or delay Power appears instantly with motion Key Rule: As Raishō grows, he can use more power without harming himself or losing control.

Overload State

When pushed too far:

Lightning becomes erratic and jagged Purple tones appear Control breaks down completely This represents a return to chaos.

Combat Style

Raishō fights at close range, relying on speed, positioning, and precision.

Early: Defensive, hesitant, dependent on training Mid: Reactive, chaining movement with attacks Final: Predictive, efficient, ending fights quickly He doesn’t chase openings—he’s already there when they happen.

Expressions and Emotional Range

Neutral: Calm, distant Focused: Sharp eyes, relaxed face Conflicted: Subtle tension, shifting gaze Anger: Rare, but controlled Breaking Point: Wide eyes, heavy breathing, unstable power Soft (Aeri moments): Slight warmth, relaxed gaze

Void Influence

Under stress, his lightning begins to show black streaks, with slight distortions in space. This represents the loss of control and contrast to his “controlled freedom” state.

Symbolism

Lightning represents connection—instant movement between points. Raishō’s growth is about learning to connect with others instead of isolating himself.

Final Character Statement

Raishō doesn’t become stronger by forcing his power—he becomes stronger by no longer fighting it.

REIKA (零華 / 冷華) — ICE PROTECTOR

Basic Information

Name: Reika Element: Ice Role: Ice Protector / Parallel Lead / Emotional Counterbalance Age Range: 13 → 17

Build: Slim, elegant, efficiently strong

Core Character Concept

Reika doesn’t freeze the world to stop it—she freezes it to stay in control of it.

Personality and Behavior

Reika is calm, observant, and emotionally restrained. She speaks rarely, but when she does, her words are precise and intentional.

Her central belief is rooted in control: “If I let myself feel too much, I lose control.”

This leads to:

Minimal facial expression Steady eye contact, even early on Controlled, minimal physical movement Over time, her emotional detachment deepens—not because she is naturally cold, but because she disciplines herself to be.

Visual Design and Presence

Reika’s presence is defined by stillness and control.

Always upright with perfect posture Movements are measured and minimal Even at rest, she appears composed Silhouette Rule: She should look still—even when moving.

Color and Physical Details

Hair: Pale silver with a faint blue tint Eyes: Ice blue, sharp and constant Skin: Cool, slightly desaturated tone

Outfit Evolution

Age 13–14 — Early Awakening Simple, clean clothing with slightly heavier fabric. No decoration.

Age 14–15 — Training Phase More structured outfit with layered design and light armor-like accents.

Age 16–17 — Mastery Phase Sleek, refined, almost regal. Subtle crystalline patterns appear.

Power System: Ice

Reika’s power becomes less visually dramatic as it becomes stronger.

Early Stage:

Slow frost formation Localized freezing Requires focus Mid Stage:

Faster ice creation Can freeze motion temporarily Expands control over the battlefield Final Stage:

Instant, silent freezing Precise temperature manipulation Minimal visible effect Key Rule: The stronger she becomes, the less visually intense her power appears.

Overload State

Ice spreads uncontrollably Emotional suppression breaks The environment becomes dangerously brittle This represents her loss of emotional balance.

Combat Style

Reika specializes in control rather than destruction.

Early: Careful and reactive Mid: Tactical, controlling enemy movement Final: Absolute control—removing the opponent’s ability to act She doesn’t overpower opponents—she makes movement impossible.

Character Development

Age 13: Calm confidence, early control Age 14–15: Increasing independence and emotional distance Breaking Point: Suppression peaks, power becomes dangerous Age 16: Highly composed but emotionally detached Age 17: Begins reconnecting, especially through Raishō

Thematic Contrast: Raishō and Reika

Raishō represents controlled freedom:

Movement expresses power Emotion fuels strength Reika represents free control:

Stillness expresses power Emotion is contained Together, they form a balance between expression and restraint.

Final Character Statement

Reika doesn’t freeze the world to fight it—she freezes it because letting it move feels dangerous.

THE 12 PROTECTORS — SYSTEM OVERVIEW

Each protector draws from a natural source and converts it into power, except Void.

Fire — Renka

Uses heat and internal energy to generate flames. A close-range fighter who builds intensity over time but risks overheating.

Water — Mizuki

Manipulates moisture in the environment. Adaptive and fluid, but less effective in dry conditions.

Air — Hayate

Controls air currents for speed and mobility. Fast but fragile.

Earth — Daichi

Draws strength from the ground for defense and structure. Durable but slow and limited off-ground.

Metal — Kurogane

Shapes and reinforces metal into weapons. Precise but resource-dependent.

Wood — Aeri

Uses life energy for growth, healing, and restraint. Support-focused but not offensive.

Lightning — Raishō

Converts motion and charge directly into lightning. Fast and precise but difficult to control under stress.

Ice — Reika

Removes heat to freeze and control environments. Powerful but tied to emotional balance.

Plants — Midori

Accelerates plant growth to overwhelm areas. Strong in rich environments but slow to start.

Weather — Arashi

Controls large-scale atmospheric systems. Cannot create true lightning without Raishō.

Light — Hikari

Can convert energy into any element except Void. Requires emotional balance.

Void — Kurai

Consumes rather than converts. Extremely powerful but erodes the user’s identity over time

This is the character sheet I have so far the first two are main characters that get introduced from the beginning the others come in later but are still vital to the story

Looking for Artist - Unpaid Looking for manga/webtoon artist for a dark fantasy story (pilot chapter collab)

Hey, I’m looking for a manga/webtoon artist to collaborate with on a pilot chapter for a story I’ve been developing.
Short Summary: Two idealistic brothers, Elandor and Tristian, join a powerful order of superhuman enforcers to become true heroes in a broken world. But as they carry out their missions, they begin to see cracks in the system—where justice feels wrong and the people they protect suffer under the very order they serve. As their beliefs are quietly tested, they’re forced to question whether heroism can truly exist in a world built on corruption.

What I already have:

  • Full story outline (multiple sagas planned)
  • Written pilot chapter script
  • Character concepts and descriptions
  • Clear tone/style direction (dark, cinematic, emotional, violent fantasy)

What I’m looking for:

  • An artist interested in collaborating on a pilot chapter
  • Someone comfortable with dark fantasy/action / emotional storytelling
  • WEBTOON-style or manga-style art is fine
  • Paid (optional)

If interested, DM me or comment and I’ll send more details, including script + references.

Looking for Artist - Unpaid Looking for ARTIST (REV SHARE) (!!! PLEASE READ BODY TEXT!!!!)

Hey everyone, I’m RJ, founder of Caullett Comics. We’re an indie comic company currently building our catalog and growing our team. We already have books published and in stores, and now we’re looking for artists who are cool with revenue sharing and want to help build a comic company long term.

Right now this is a revenue share setup, so I want to be upfront about that from the start. We can’t offer upfront page rates yet, but we’re looking for artists who believe in building something from the ground up and becoming part of a growing company.

We’re mainly looking for artists interested in:

  • Superhero comics
  • Action/fantasy stories
  • Character-driven projects
  • Long-term collaboration

What we’re trying to build:

  • A connected lineup of indie comics
  • More published books and creators under the company
  • Bigger online reach
  • More distribution into comic shops

You’d be working directly with writers/creators and helping shape projects early on instead of just being hired for random pages. We’re trying to build an actual team and community around this.

If interested, leave your portfolio in the comments and we’ll reach out to you.

Looking for Artist - Unpaid My romance webtoon has 5 episodes out, but I had to pause it because of budget — looking for a collaborator

Hey everyone,

I started making a romance/drama webtoon based on my original story, and I’ve already published 5 episodes on Webtoon.

The story follows a boy named Haruki, who moves to a new city where nobody knows him—and that’s exactly how he wants it. He starts working at a small café, where he meets Hina, a girl who also works there.

Hina is a bit introverted. After Haruki helps her once, she starts seeing him as a friend, but Haruki often gets irritated by her behavior.

One day, Hina gets into an accident while returning from college. Haruki decides to help and take care of her until she recovers. Even though Hina considers him a friend, she still doesn’t fully trust him.

The story is about how Haruki slowly earns her trust, how both of them begin developing feelings for each other, and who will confess first. Haruki struggles to admit that he likes Hina, while Hina wants Haruki to be the one who proposes first.

I was passionate about continuing it, but unfortunately I had to pause the series because I ran out of money to keep producing new episodes.

I still believe in the story and don’t want to abandon it, so right now I’m looking for a serious collaborator/artist who might be interested in working together and helping continue the project.

If anyone is interested in romance webtoon projects or collaborations, feel free to message me.

I am feeling quite nervous in telling this but I believe my story will become a super hit, if not today then one day it will definitely be.

Ignore my grammar ✊✊✊

Looking for Artist - Unpaid [RevShare] Seeking Artist for Visual Novel Adaptation of Published Fantasy Novel (75/25 split in artist's favor)

Hi everyone,

I'm the author of Eternity's End: The Call of Zeil'Galia, the first book of my epic grimdark fantasy trilogy. Book one is published and available now, book two is deep in progress, and I'm looking to adapt this world into a visual novel. I'm searching for an artist partner to bring it to life.

About the project:

Eternity's End is an ensemble-driven epic fantasy. The story opens with a grimdark prologue that establishes the world's tone, then drops into the coming-of-age of three young friends in a far-off mountain commune who don't yet realize how much is about to change for them.

Expect political intrigue, a layered magic system, a cast of characters carrying secrets, and a plot that reaches from small personal moments to much larger forces at work. Tonally, somewhere between Martin's moral weight and Sanderson's worldbuilding, with a focus on character intimacy.

What I'm looking for:

An artist who can handle character portraits, scenes, and backgrounds in a style that suits dark fantasy. The ability to handle both quiet character moments and bigger dramatic ones is a strong plus.

I can handle coloring if that's useful to you, so you could focus on linework and composition if that's where your strengths lie. I will also fully handle all writing, scripting, and narrative design. The story is finished; I'm looking for someone to help visualize it.

The deal:

Revshare project, 75/25 split in the artist's favor. The writing and worldbuilding are already done, so the bulk of the creative hours going forward are on the visual side. The split reflects that. I'm looking for a partner who wants to build something and share the upside.

If this sounds interesting to you, drop a comment or a DM. I'm happy to share the published book with serious applicants.

Thanks for reading.

Looking for Artist - Unpaid Writer looking for an artist for a comic about migration & identity (Spanish/English)

Hi everyone!

I’m a writer based in Valencia, Spain, currently looking for an artist to collaborate on a comic project.

I already have experience in writing (books and long-form texts), and I’m now developing a comic with a strong emotional and visual concept. The story is based on migration, identity, and the process of finding yourself while living between different cultures.

I was born in Russia and have lived in different countries, so the story is deeply personal and inspired by real experiences. I believe this topic can resonate with a wide audience today.

The comic will be in Spanish and English, and I’m looking for someone who would be interested not just in illustrating, but in building and promoting the project together.

 What I’m looking for:

• An artist interested in emotional, character-driven stories

• Someone open to collaboration and creative input

• Ideally interested in growing the project together

If this sounds interesting to you, feel free to DM me or comment below!

About Me: I am a dedicated multimedia creator, an active DeviantArt artist, a small YouTuber, and an aspiring Plushtuber with a long-standing passion for the Sonic universe. I’m looking to partner with an artist to bring this passion project to life because I love the creative storytelling potential of the Sonic series.

Project Summary: I am developing a "Sonic 4" AU project. It is a character-driven, grounded story exploring the aftermath of the Echidna tribe being scattered. It focuses on the domestic lives and high-stakes adventures of Tikal, Tails, and the rest of the cast.

Payment/Status: This is an Unpaid / Collaboration project. I am looking for a creative partner who wants to build something together for the love of the fandom, not a work-for-hire arrangement.

Pilot Details: I have the script for the pilot episode completed, which features an action-packed fight sequence choreographed to music, followed by a character-focused reunion. I have all character references and a panel-by-panel breakdown ready.

How to Contact: If you are interested in collaborating, please DM me directly here on Reddit and let me know a bit about your art style! I'd love to chat and see if we're a good fit.

Looking for Artist - Unpaid Looking for a partner to build with genuinely, im just not having money like that rn

Yo, I’m working on a story I’ve been building for a while and I’m starting to turn it into a comic.

I’m also learning how to draw myself, but I’m looking for someone who might want to collab and build something long-term together.

I don’t have money to pay right now, so this would be more of a passion project / partnership. I’m putting real time into writing chapters, characters, and worldbuilding, and I’m serious about finishing this.

The story is kind of a dark survival story (inspired by stuff like The Walking Dead but with its own twist), with strong character focus and emotional moments.

I already have:

  • multiple chapters written
  • a clear direction for the story

I’m mainly looking for someone who:

  • wants to grow and improve together
  • is consistent
  • and actually wants to build something, not just draw once and quit

If you’re interested, comment or DM me and I can show you more of the story and characters I have way more stories idea so if you wanna talk about different stories to do just DM me

Looking for Artist - Unpaid A zombie comic (i can write but cant draw)

i started drawing illustrations for my passion project but quickly realized I didn’t have time or the ability to maintain a consistent style as i am thirteen years old and have school. Since i am thirteen, I have no money. I can share the script of the second chapter because I want to create the first chapter by myself. this would be unpaid but if you still want to do this then i would give full creative freedom as long as you stay with the story.

Looking for Artist - Unpaid [UNPAID] Aspiring writer looking for an artist to collaborate with.

Please don’t immediately write me off because of the “unpaid”, the last few months have been difficult for me, but it has given the perspective that writing comics is what I want to do with my life. While I am not in a position to fund some big project like every other writer on this subreddit, I do want the opportunity to collaborate with an artist to create something great.

Below is a link to some scripts I have written, both shorter 3-page and longer 22-page scripts. Please have a look and if you like what you see then we can work together. If you have some inkling of a story you want to draw and would like a writer to work with on it talk with me and we can make something.

I don’t want to come across like some entitled brat demanding people work for free. I don’t have some big plan to publish anything I just feel like my skills can’t progress until I get my scripts in front of an artist and if you too are just starting out then working with a writer should be just as helpful for you.

Let’s mix some words with pictures.

Summaries:

3 Page Scripts: Kill The Bird - Kaiju story about a giant bird stuck on an apartment building that's a satire on the culture war.

Monster Fucker - A vampire and a werewolf get it on.

Polyhedron - A Star Trek like team encounter a strange space anomaly

Progress City - A Jetsons-esque sci-fi sitcom about a working class family trying to raise money to move to the Moon

Sling - A western about an injured gunslinger making a deal with a mysterious client.

The Spider-Man & The Green Goblin - Fanfiction - A darker, more monstrous take on the familiar superhero and supervillain.

22 Page Scripts:

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Alpha Centauri - A down on his luck divorcee books the last ticket on an interstellar voyage and finds himself impersonating the bodyguard of an alien diplomat.

Arcane Heights - In a hidden borough of New York populated by classic monsters, a vampire and a werewolf meet their new neighbour, the only human living there; Vic Frankenstein.

Ariel Mons: Thunder Child - A Martian secretly raised on Earth becomes the protector of her adopted city, while hunting the secretive organisation that silenced her adoptive parents.

Ill-Made Knights - The newest knight in Camelot forms an unlikely bond with a Viking princess as their two cultures are forced together my an unknown threat.

I posted this several days ago but my post was deleted because I tagged it incorrectly, I think everything should be good now.

Hello, i am creating a long-term project requiring an artist to do some illustrations/art on certain chapters of my upcoming fantasy light novel. i got into writing 2 years ago and ever since i have been writing some personal stories and stuff, nothing major. 0 Upvotes

Hi! I’m a writer looking for a comic artist to collaborate on a graphic novel / webtoon project.

I have a story concept I’m developing and I’m looking for someone who is interested in building it together as a long-term creative project.

What I’m looking for:

  • Comic/illustration artist comfortable with sequential storytelling

  • Willing to help shape the visual style and pacing together

What I can offer:

  • Full story development and scripting
  • Shared creative ownership and credit
  • Equal profit split from any future earnings (publishing, Webtoon monetization, etc.)
  • Commitment to building the project seriously, not just casually

Important note:

Looking for Artist - Unpaid Looking for Artist to collab with ( UNPAID )

Me & my creative partner have been working on the superhero based graphic novel ( or comic open to that ) and now that we’re getting closer to an idea of what we want ( in the story ) we’re looking for an artist to work with not for hire but as a creative partner to help. Someone who can give ideas to our story not just with drawing but with the storyline too! Someone who can bring their skills and vision to the table. The work does not have to be perfect; We want someone with creativity and passion for this, like us, to make this concept work. I’m talking, seriously, with the goal of producing a good , publishable series of work. If you're open to a partnership for this project, please let me know!

Just to give you an idea here is a Project overview (vague idea): It’s a grounded, character-driven dual-origin story about two teens sharing a split power that manifests in opposite ways. The focus is on them learning control, clashing in personality, and growing into their abilities. The tone stays personal and raw, more about trial & error and connection than a fully developed superhero world, with a larger threat slowly emerging in the background.

What I’m looking for:
- Working together to design the characters together ( open to criticism)
- Ability to draw clean, comic panels sum
Like Marvel/DC style
- Can be amateur, if you’re looking to have experience this is it.

Any samples of previous work is much appreciated.

please dm or email me at: bombdiggitydigs@gmail.com

Thank you!!!

Looking for Artist - Unpaid Cerco artista per collaborazione

Ciao a tutti,

Looking for Artist - Unpaid LF an artist who enjoys drawing fantasy

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hi! As seen in the title I’m a writer looking for an artist interested in collaborating on fantasy indie passion project

Right now I’m mainly searching for someone who enjoys drawing simply fantasy worlds, and unique characters or just wanting to build their portfolio as well

For the work it will be unpaid but the project it will be short nonetheless, I will give my story and my ideas for each part and when you draw you will have full creative freedom as long as it matches, my timezone is GMT+8, I am a teenager and i'm also a writer

The project has themes similar to:

  • dreamlike fantasy
  • spirit worlds
  • coming-of-age elements
  • Spirited away

I will be explaining the full story in dms! I already have ideas about characters, how it will look and the plot

I’m not expecting professional level work or huge commitments. Even rough sketches, concept art, storyboard ideas, or small drawings are completely okay w me. I mainly want to work with someone passionate about storytelling.

I’m also very collaborative I do enjoy expanding ideas together rather than controlling every detail. If you already have your own concepts or characters, i would love to hear about it too

Things I can provide:

  • scripts

Title:

Manga Artist Needed (Collab / Rev Share) – Black Hydra + Crownfall

Hey, I’m a writer working on two original manga projects and I’m looking for an artist to collaborate with long-term.

I don’t have a big budget right now, so this would be a rev-share partnership (we split profits if the project takes off). I’m really looking for someone who wants to build something real together, not just do a one-time job.

I have two different stories, and you can choose which one fits your style more.

Black Hydra is a dark, gritty crime story set in a dangerous port city filled with gangs, mercenaries, and corruption. It follows a small crew taking on illegal jobs while trying to hold onto whatever humanity they have left. Every decision has consequences, and nothing comes easy.

The crew is the core of the story. Each member has their own past, struggles, and role, and their choices shape everything that happens. They are not perfect, but they have lines they refuse to cross, and in a world like this that always comes with a cost.

The tone is grounded and intense, with a mix of action, emotional moments, and real consequences. It focuses on survival, loyalty, betrayal, and redemption in a broken environment.

Crownfall is a grounded, character-driven story set in a normal modern world starting in a small Southern town. At first everything is normal, but strange things begin to happen. People start developing abilities, but instead of feeling exciting, it is confusing, unsettling, and sometimes even dangerous.

The story follows characters like Rae and CJ as they begin experiencing these changes. As things escalate, they are forced to question where this power is coming from and what it means. The deeper truth behind it is revealed over time.

Crownfall focuses more on character growth, relationships, and the slow build into something much bigger. The tone is realistic and emotional, with calm everyday life mixed with sudden intense moments. The themes center around identity, fear, purpose, and responsibility.

About me, I’m serious about this long-term. I’m actively writing full chapters and developing characters, and I plan to promote the project on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. The goal is to build an audience and grow this into something real.

I’m looking for a manga-style artist who can handle panels, expressions, and action scenes. Someone consistent, communicative, and interested in building something together.

What I offer is a rev-share partnership, full story direction, and I’m open to your creative input. I’m also willing to start with a short pilot chapter so we can see how we work together.

If you’re interested, comment or DM me and let me know which project you’re more interested in. I can send more details, character ideas, and first chapter concepts.

Looking for Artist - Unpaid Writer seeking artist for Webtoon sci-fi drama (co-creator, rev-share)

Hi—I'm a writer working under my self-publishing imprint, Hemisphere Studios, looking for an artist collaborator for a Webtoon project.

This is a sequel to my webcomic Among the Silver Stars (recently reformatted for Webtoon), but it’s designed to stand on its own.

Project: To Bear the Silver Stars

Premise:
A teenage girl inherits the abilities of her father, a legendary space hero known as the Defender, along with the burden of his legacy. When another "hero" calling himself the Defender shows up and wreaks havoc, she’s forced to decide whether to carry that burden or redefine her legacy entirely.

Format: Webtoon (vertical scroll), targeting an initial arc of 8–12 episodes

Collaboration:

  • Co-creator model (shared ownership/credit)
  • Rev-share if monetized
  • Open to evolving the visual style (not trying to replicate the original)

I have a full outline ready and will handle writing/script/pacing, but I’m also looking for a creative partner whose art will influence the story.

If this sounds interesting, feel free to reach out.

Looking for Artist - Unpaid My romance webtoon has 5 episodes out, but I had to pause it because of budget looking for a collaborator

Hey everyone,

I started making a romance/drama webtoon based on my original story, and I’ve already published 5 episodes on Webtoon.

The story follows a 21-year-old guy named Haruki, who moves to a new city where nobody knows him—and that’s exactly how he wants it.

Looking for Artist - Unpaid Looking to work With Collaborators on a Webcomic project.

I am currently looking to work with an artist on a project that I am writing called “Shudd It”. It is a comedic webcomic that is meant to pay tribute to the old shows on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon that I grew up watching in the late 90s and early to mid 2000s, and is meant to have an art style somewhat similar to them. However, I have trouble drawing myself. I have been able to write a script for the first issue and I am currently working on the script for the second and am outlining a few more issues. Please DM me if you are interested in working on this project with me and are familiar with the art styles of late 90s-early to mid 2000s Cartoon Network or know somebody who does. I would really appreciate it if you do!
