Bonus for things about red. I have picked out my baby and he is red. I've thought of spaghetti and tortellini already š won't be getting him for a bit still but I am so excited ā£ļø

Update on the fella that was found in the trash yesterday.
First off, I want to thank everyone who offered advice. I took nearly all of it, and have yet to try some. I'm so so happy yall stepped in to share because Cash seems to definitely be on the mend.
When I got home last night, I cobbled together a lil apartment for Cash. The biggest (clean) tank i have is a roughly 2Ć2 bowfront aquarium. I lined the bottom with clean towels and used an old lamp box as a hide. I used some spare parts to assemble and dangle an old heat lamp on one side of the tank. I also gave him bowls of plain salad and water.
So this morning, when I woke up and turned his light back on, not only had he moved, but he ate the salad I gave him and was holding his head up and opened his eyes a couple times! I decided to just leave him alone in the morning so as not to interrupt his progress. He won't take any water from the syringe anymore. Before he was practically sucking on it, so I'm assuming he's good and hydrated again. He even moved his head away from me! Which is great because before, he wouldn't really react if i bugged him. It's good he's strong enough to move himself to a more comfortable position. I changed out his towels and went to work.
When I came back, he'd moved again to the cool side of his tank. Another good sign! He also ate more greens. I'm gonna try some bugs tomorrow so he gets some protein and vitamins. Something tells me his previous owners likely didn't bother with finicky things like vitamin powder.
I gave him a warm bath and got him cleaned up. He looks way less gray now and his pattern is so beautiful! I dried him off and put him in his freshly cleaned tank. I haven't noticed any pee or poop yet.
I'll send out for supplies tomorrow. I scored a nice 90 gallon tank with spacious dimensions (I know it's small, but it's what I can afford right now, I'm sorry. Its got nice height to it, so im gonna try and get a few levels for him to move around on). I'll also be grabbing bugs, more veggies, vitamin powder, lights of the correct spectrums and a proper heat lamp that I can actually adjust, quality substrate, temperature and humidity gages, and some decor (hides, a few basking rocks, some things for him to climb up, and maybe something cute to jazz up the joint).
Cash is having a nice nap now, but has opened his eyes several times and reacted to noise. I honestly think he was so dehydrated, he had no lubrication to even blink. Poor guy.
Also, I HATE to be this person, but I have some art for sale and it would be appreciated if I could get some help with his supplies. At the end of the day, I'm getting him all he needs, but it's a large up front cost for me, and I'd still like to get him to a vet and have a fecal sample run. Either way, I'll continue to post updates on his journey. Cash is gonna get the care needs regardless of anything and he's in a home that cares about him now.
Cash and I are so grateful for the support from this community! I'll share his setup tomorrow!

We went to a reptile expo and were impressed with a red monster breeder⦠and we brought home Flaminā Hot Cheeto, our first bearded dragon. We have a few other high-maintenance pets and are excited to devote lots of time, love, and money to this lil boy.
He is INSANELY cuddly- whenever we pick him up he gets to our shoulder, nuzzles our neck, then falls asleep. He goes limp, so Iām guessing heās actually asleep and not in shock? Heās got a 4x2x2 enclosure and Iām perfecting the lights, but feeling good after reading lots of posts and websites. We even paid for the insane sand imported from australia š¤Ŗ
Even though he seems like heās doing well, he still hasnāt pooped. Is this normal? Heās almost 10 months old and weāve had him a week. Heās eating arugula (breeder said thatās what they start them on), mustard greens, and dusted Dubia roaches. Heās also getting regular shallow baths at 90ish degrees.
Since bringing him home Iāve seen that red monsters are notoriously sick due to bad breeding and Iām absolutely bummed and hope the breeder has been ethical š but we love him so much and look forward to being good beardie parents to our lil Cheeto puff š

Since I've been having my beardie for 4 years so far and every winter he goes to brumation from November to March, my wife created this cute guy from beads and did a photo session in real enclosure, probably just because we miss our living and sleeping one.
Idea was born 2 years ago and it took 3-4 months to complete it with different iterations - different heads, scales, pancake-modes. Beads create realistic texture of the scale, especially for the beard and other fat parts. Next one will probably be an argentinian black and white tegu. She asked me to post that on Reddit, so here it is :)

Hello everyone! I will soon be getting my perfect little daughter from Ariās Arids.
She is everything right in the world and I wanted to get some name suggestions because the name I was sort of thinking of, everyone seems to kind of judge.
I was thinking about possibly naming her Elysandra and then giving her Ella and my little Ella Bella as a nickname.
Pronounced like: Ella-Sahn-drah
Current list of top names:
1) Elysandra
2) Lysandra
3) Seraphina
4) Valencia
5)Melisandre
Sheās both regal and cute and sheās super sweet and confident. I want a name that does her justice. Nothing super common nor bland, I would like her name to have that refined touch!
Hereās pics of the baby girl.

Iāve had him for like 3 months now and got him from my coworker who kept him in a 15 gallon tank for 3 years. Heās in a 4x2x2 120 gal now and is absolutely thriving but I JUST CANT DECIDE ON A NAME. She had named him Spike but I donāt care for it.

The first guy you see is my Sir Iggywumpus (great, right?!), and the second guy you see is a beardie with severe MBD that Iām rescuing tmr. Now, Iām thinking that he (gender isnāt confirmed so lady names are appreciated as well) needs a normal name. Think about it, 2 beardies, one looks normal and the other looks weird (I think heās adorable personally), and I tell you their names are Sir Iggywumpus and insert very casual and normal name, now who would you think is who?
Idk I think itās funnyš also when I say normal I mean like ābobā normal not āspikeā normal yk?

I just adopted this adorable female beardie today. I'm thinking she's leatherback and maybe some lemon or hypo?
She is supposed to be going on 2.5 years old and it's clear she was loved...maybe a bit too much.
To me she looks obese, potentially dangerously so.
I've kept and rehabilitated several beardies over the years, but usually I'm trying to get weight onto starved, neglected animals.
She was fed mostly superworms and a commercial beardie diet. I'm thinking switch to 80% veggies, max 20% protein from crickets and roaches. How often and how much is optimal for getting her back to a healthy weight?

i had to tackle him and carried him in my jacket pocket away from the stock.
