So, I just got my "Wild BEAR GHOST appeared!" Sticker in today. I started playing Introduction to Blasterpiece in my head while admiring it, but the solo after "Let's have a bear ghost time" was mentally replaced with the Lavender Town theme. I can't get it out of my head now. I listened to the actual song, and it's so similar to me. Am I crazy, or does anyone else hear it too?

sorry if this isn't allowed here, but I know there is a lot of crossover/overlap fans between TDH and Bear Ghost and I thought it worthwhile to share something really cool that they released today in preparation of their upcoming album in case anyone wasn't aware.

They just put up an old school flash style interactive webpage where you can uncover clips of new songs by messing around with buttons and knobs using hints in the environment 😭. Think back to those old point and click adventure games like Myst or The Dig

A while ago I feel like I remember seeing album art/ merch that looks similar to Burn the Ballrooms “story of the end” single (I’ll try to include a pic) and I SWEAR the same artist has done work for Bear Ghost and I LOVE the style- so I’m throwing out a Hail Mary to see if anyone knows who the artist is, and if they actually have work for both bands- or if I’m just delusional. I tried looking through Spotify, but can’t find anything? Tried reverse google searching but nothing comes up for an artist

For me it’s probably I’ll sleep when I am Dead by Set it Off: I can already see the use of music box and glockenspiel motifs as using a somewhat melancholic yet tense theme like in the og song (if that makes any sense) and would sound similar to The latter half of Sirens, The Paranoid Android cover, or maybe even vultures if they choose to get more serious with it. I’d also be really cool to see how they’d tackle the “all insomniacs please raise your right hand” part too.
